We especially liked the yard and the rooms. The surroundings were quiet and we felt at home. Breakfast was great and we liked the way we ate with other guests together on a long table. It was great to talk to them and have interesting conversations. Everything was clean and nice and check-in was easy. Although we didn't get to meet the owners, the cook gave us recommendations for Winona and helped us out with questions.

It was a little cold because we couldn't change the temperature of the air conditioner on our own. But there were enough blankets

The property is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable. We stayed in the Carriage house behind the main house, and loved that there was a small room where we could eat our dinner that we picked up and watch a movie. The breakfast in the morning was delicious! And the ladies are super nice and accommodating.

We loved the fireplace and jacuzzi especially! The breakfast served in the morning was excellent, the location was super close to shops and they even gave us complimentary tickets to the Marine Museum!

No TVs in the room but that wasn’t a huge issue! The door to the carriage house was a little hard to shut and the other guests were always leaving it unlatched.

The room’s decor was calm, unique and tastefully decorated. It overlooked a beautifully landscaped garden/ sitting area. There was a communal room with TV, games and coffee available for guests. The breakfast of fruit, sweet rolls and a wild rice quiche was wonderful. The owners are 2 wonderful and interesting women.

Very pleasant room. The breakfast in the main house was delicious. Large portions. Excellent coffee and plentiful tea selection. Hosts were warm and efficient.

The only downside, and it was my fault for not checking, were the stairs to the room. I usually request ground floor. For a short stay it was manageable.

Breakfast served in the beautiful dining room always included a variety of unique tasty dishes served along with fruit, juice and warm beverage of choice. A truly great start to the day! The hosts made us feel like family. We liked that most modern conveniences such as TV and refrigerator were available but not in the rooms allowing one to more fully appreciate the decor from the past.

The breakfast was excellent and the dining area was great. The rooms are not in the house itself but in a finished 2 story garage. We didn't mind the flight of stairs but that may cause a problem for some. It's location is very convenient to town and Lake Winona for hiking or biking. The staff is very pleasant.

the room was small but clean and comfortable. we enjoyed relaxing in the screen porch. the breakfast was excellent! our hosts were the best!

This accommodation is located in a very convenient area, close to the highway, parks, restaurants, and shops. Every breakfast was homemade and sensational.

I would have appreciated a luggage rack, but this is only a small detail. I would not hesitate to stay again with this wonderful family.

I want to give a big shout out to Tara at the Carriage House Bed and Breakfast. We came to visit over Valentine's Day in 2021 and the weather was bitterly cold! (-20 below!) She upgraded us to a cozy room with a gas fireplace and made sure the room was warm before we arrived. She also gave us a recommendation for a great place to eat, prepared us a lovely breakfast that was geared to our Keto diet, and conversed with us about the things that are happening in the world! It was a refreshing time away from home and I look forward to coming back for another visit in the spring or summer!

I would have liked to have tea to drink on the porch. We did have tea with breakfast. But that was just a small thing.
