The staff was really friendly and helpful! The pool hours were 6-11 so we were able to take advantage of the pool a couple times per day! The breakfast was good. The older lady that worked it was extremely kind and on top of things. The rooms were very clean and well stocked. My kids ended up having a hard time sharing the bed on the first night and the front desk associate sent up a roll-a-way bed free of charge.

The bed was SO UNCOMFORTABLE! I felt like I had been run over repeatedly with a couple of 18 wheelers when I woke up! It was seriously the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on.

The female staff member at checkout was rude. I was inquring why the rate on my suite was more than I was quoted at booking and check in. She told me that is what it is and she didn't know. I asked could she see the itemized charges. I was told to call customer service. I asked for the manager she said there was not one. I called the customer service number for assistance and was told the onsite hotel staff would and could providecvvthe information because they could see it. The I was over charged, rude female staff member, no assistance, and still do not know if I received my double rewards or anything else.

We were on our way back from Gulf Shores & needed to rest before we made the last leg of the trip. I’ve always had good experiences at every Hampton Inn which we’ve stayed. This one was no different. We rested well & were back on the road bright & early.

In the wee hours of the morning, I went to our car to obtain a fan for noise while we slept. The hotel main doors locked so I had to find a side door to get back in. This entailed walking around to the side of the hotel for entry. No problem though…the hotel is in a good neighborhood so I felt safe.

We were supposed to get a "genius" price through Booking.com. However, the Hampton hotel in Tupelo MS did not honor the discount. They said we had to contact Booking.com. We did contact them on the phone and emailed the information to Booking.com. The representative said she would get back with me. That never happened. Therefore at this point I would not recommend trusting the "Genius" bookings on Booking.com.

It had a sink area.

The first room we stayed in was very clean and exactly what we needed, two beds, and had a good size bathroom but the refrigerator was leaking. We had to be moved to the only other room available which was a suite. The only difference from the room we had to the suite was a big desk and a couch that pulled out to a bed. The bathroom was much smaller and the room wasn't all the way clean.

Breakfast Sunday was wonderful! Oatmeal, mini egg omelets, sausage patties/links and ham, biscuits and gravy plus pre-packaged muffins, yogurt, fruit etc. The room was comfortable with limited noises. Cookies were good!

Monday's breakfast consisted of a small biscuit sandwich with microwave bacon, egg and cheese, cold cereal plus the fruit and yogurt. Definitely a step down from Sunday! The door to our room was slightly off its top hinge so in order to close it, you had to pull up on the door handle and push slam it . Told the front desk but nothing was done. My friend had to get fresh linens from the front desk and initially was denied any saying that housekeeping had gone home but was then provided a full set! She also said that the pool was too cold for her and her son. The tv didn't swivel where you could watch it from the sofa.
