Green Gables Inn

It was super clean, in a good location, and the staff were all very friendly. When I day clean, it was really clean. I always sanitize table surfaces etc before I put anything on them. They always come away with black, even in quote-unquote fancy hotels. Here, it was clean.

The heater whined a bit, but it adjusts to white noise.

Cleanliness was excellent here! Not just the rooms, but the entire property as well. I felt very comfortable staying here with how clean it was, how safe the location is, and how amazingly comfortable the beds were. The staff attending to breakfast were very kind and friendly. I liked the look of the paint, curtains, bedding, and flooring as well. Didn't make me feel like I was staying in outdated motel.

There are lots of stairs and walking from some of the parking spots to the rooms, so keep that in mind if you are mobility impaired or have a lot of luggage to bring into the room with you. Front staff clerk was professional and nice, but not very friendly per say, which is the only thing that kept my staff review from reaching 5 stars.

It was a great location. Clean and very quiet. A microwave and fridge are a must for us, and these were clean and nice. Breakfast was very good. Loved the biscuits and gravy and waffles. There were a lot of options. Even though we were just minutes before end time, they did not rush us and even asked if we needed anything else. That meant a lot to me. The maid staff and desk staff were very friendly anywhere you encountered them on the property. I love being able to relax and feel welcomed, and they definitely aided in that with the atmosphere. We have stayed in the area multiple weekends the last few months due to visiting family, and this is by far our favorite place so far. We can't wait to come back.

Would love for them to consider extended pool hours to 11pm. Both nights i was there, multiple people wanted to get in the pool, and it was too close to closing for them to do so. I was able to enjoy it prior to closing but would have stayed longer if hours permitted. The pool was clean and wonderful. It took a bit of effort to check out. No one was in the lobby. Another guest and I had to wait quite some time. We rang the bell on the counter 4 separate times before someone responded. Other than that, though, the staff was amazing the duration of the trip at every interaction. I will stay here again.

Nice sized rooms. Comfortable bedding. Great rates. Free breakfast and roomy breakfast area. Well kept outdoor pool. Very friendly staff. Nicely located near activities, restaurants, retail and grocery stores. Free wifi.

It’s within walking distance to the main strip but on a very steep road, so unless you want a workout, you’ll need transportation to go anywhere. The parking area is tight and crowded at times. The spaces are a bit narrow and it took some finesse to get our full size pickup truck parked at times. Wifi was a bit slow.

Nice stay, we must've stayed when it was considered off season due to the cheap rates. The bathroom needed some repairs but the bed was comfy and everything was fine. There was a wide selection for breakfast and the eating area was kept clean all morning. It's a quiet tucked away place, we will likely return. Staff was friendly as well.

The bathroom needed maintenance, the shower head sprayed all over when we turned it on, we tightened it and it was fine after.

Room was exceptionally clean and to our surprised cleaned every morning with fresh towels! Perfect location for our needs with all attractions restaurants nearby including Moonshine Beach that we loved! Pool was sparkling clean only needed an umbrella for a little shade and more loungers but still great! Breakfast had a variety of foods only wish provided meat and eggs and fresh fruit on same mornings. ALL staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was a great place with a great price. Had a wonderful stay and will be back!

Only suggestions would be umbrellas and more loungers in pool area. And need more protein (eggs and meat together) and fresh fruit with breakfast.

The staff was friendly, helped us with a special Need. Room was clean, well furnished with toiletries, towels,coffee,makeup remover etc. Great hot showers. Location was close to everything and a Walmart was in walking distance.

It was a great room for the price. We thoroughly checked the beds for bedbugs and they were clean. The beds were very comfy and the room had a microwave and fridge.

The microwave only worked if you pressed the popcorn or pizza buttons. The ceiling in the shower had obvious water damage and was molding. The cleaning service took towels but didn’t always replace them, but it was easy to go to the office. We did after hours check in, but the name on our room was wrong, so we were scared it got double booked. In the morning, they told us the system just didn’t change names after a cancellation so it ended up being fine, but then we got locked out of room days later because the person issuing our keys issued them for the dates of the canceled stay and not our own which was longer. That was easy to fix though by going to the office. I don’t know how that would’ve worked if we came back after the office closed.

The room was clean. Exceptional was the fact it was quiet! No noise from rooms next door or below, only the air conditioner. Unlike some where you can hear everything in next room.

Bathroom is older but for the price no big deal. Breakfast was minimal the waffles, something considered biscuits & gravey. Enough to get by if needed.

I liked the location because it was across the street from Panera. The rooms were very clean. I didn't have any qualms about staying there, especially for the price. The beds were comfy too. The bathroom was clean and shower drained well. There was a coffee pot in room with single packets and cups. It sat on the cabinet by the sink. I would've like to see it far away from the restroom area.

The breakfast was pretty standard; cold cereal, packets of oatmeal, packets of peanut butter, bagels, and only pork for the meat. No cooked eggs. They had small sugared up yogurts & packaged cups of fruit. One could make their own waffles with a butter type spread and syrup. Coffee and juice. I so wish they would've had fresh fruit, like bananas or apples. But it was clean in the bkfst room. It is the old style hotel where we had to climb stairs and our door was outside, not in an inner hallway. The air conditioner had a whine to it in our particular room. It was just a matter of getting used to it so we could sleep. I'm sure not all rooms sound that way.
