Comfort Inn Grain Valley

Easy check-in, check-out. Welcoming staff. Comfortable room. Good bed with lots of pillows. Lots of towels. Nice refrigerator provided with good freezer. Good breakfast. Plenty of parking. Good selection of restaurants in the area.

First room assigned had strong odor of pets. Second room also had a noticeable odor perhaps from dirty vacuum filter. Third room assigned was a charm. All rooms were located on the third floor which was supposed to be a pet-free floor. Lady at desk admitted that sometimes guests do slip a small animal past them. Also, there were some ants on the air-conditioning unit and on the work desk. I think this was due to the sugar packets on the work desk.

Good breakfast. Nice receptionist. Plenty Parkin. Very clean room. Bed comfort.

Connie amd Gloria (front desk amd manager)are a blessing to know. They have helped myself amd my son amd granddaughters in alot of ways. My 2 granddaughters call it their castle. We feel safe ,and it's very clean. Waitimg for the hot breakfast to come back and the awesome pool back open. Love you Connie and Gloria. Be back soon. 💜

LOcated right off of I70 is veery convienient. The breakfast was very good. Houskeeping and front desk staff were great.

Wish the pool worked. and hottub. Understand the price of clorine is very high right now. But the price of the room didnt go down. The pool and hottub are part of the deal. In my eyes anyway. Also the back door doesnt latch. It was broke all weekend. Anyone could have walked right in there in the night. Front desk informs me their hands are tied by corperate.

I've stayed at this Comfort Inn numerous times. It is a good value, clean and comfortable and usually pretty quiet. The grounds are well-lighted and feel safe. They welcome my dogs, and have ample grassy areas for them. The staff is very helpful.

It is very convenient to I-70 but the downside of that is freeway noise. As with most "free breakfasts," they served the usual.

Value was poor. Overpriced. Stayed in oceanfront Hilton's for 109.00 Airports for $75 Along expressway for $171.00. really. Your values suck. Will never use you again

The location was great; plenty of affordable food delivery options. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were alright. They could add more! The single occupancy king size room was awesome and had a little coffee station with a keurig and coffee choices. There was also a nice little fridge and microwave. I was visiting the hotel so that I could focus solely on my business and it was very quiet with a lot of privacy which was a lovely environment to get work done in a comfortable setting. The desk and office chair was surprisingly comfortable.

No one was at the front desk the first night I arrived. There was a woman waiting to check in with her husband. We kinda looked at each other and looked to the sign on the plexiglass that said, “Ring bell for service”. There may have also been a small sign that said something about a restroom break. The guest rang the bell after attempting to call the hotel on her phone. A person came from the hall, all in a huff, snatched the bell and sign off the counter and stomped behind the front desk. “I was in the bathroom!” was how he greeted the guest. We both tried to make the best of an awkward situation by being kind and understanding. He settled down and seemed to let go of his frustration. It was a bummer for such a lovely hotel in a great location. Also, the WiFi would not stay connected.

The breakfast was fantastic, everything you could want eggs, biscuits & gravy, cereal, bagels, muffins, juice.

Bed was a little hard and parking lot needed more light

Sure do miss the hot breakfast. And the pool and hot tub. I'm sure that's all covid related but makes me feel like I should be getting a better price on my room. That is all. Connie and her crew are doing a fantastic job.
