Capitol Plaza Hotel Jefferson City

Each staff member I encountered was pleasant and helpful. After checkout. they held my luggage at the hotel until I completed my visit at the prison . I had forgotten my $200 speaker and favorite pillow from my 2001 pregnancy in the room without my knowledge they were both tied up with my luggage when I went to retrieve it. I am so very pleased and grateful I will be back oh btw I am not big into esthetics art and or decor but the property is literally BEAUTIFUL.

Having spent 25 years in Jefferson City, nice to see the quality of the Capital Plaza is still quite high. Location nearly unbeatable. Staff courteous, helpful, and seem happy with their jobs. Upgrade to a king suite meant I had the pleasure of staying in one of the finest rooms ever stayed in.

Very sad to see restaurant and lounge indefinitely closed, and economic conditions forcing the keeping of only minimal staff on duty.

The staff are very friendly, very responsive and helpful. The welcome was warm and friendly. The place is awesome 👌, I love it. It's clean, spacious and 😍. I really ❤ everything about my stay in this beautiful hotel of very nice staff.

I wish they were a laundry service. The fact that breakfast is not included in the price.

It was more than the basic continental

The 2nd day, it was almost like they had the same eggs/biscuits/potatoes/gravy from the prior day. The eggs were dried out on the edges, the biscuits were dry and harder, the gravy was more dried out and the potatoes tasted like they were warmed up as opposed to the prior day, everything tasted fresh.

Location was good, the staff was super sweet and helpful, with great attitudes!

On booking I requested two twin bed's and I got One king, So that was an error and didn't change the price any. Although a guy in front of me checking in, they couldn't find his reservation so he stayed for "$89 a night vs my $135.

Front desk personnel

No coffee until late AM. Seems pretty sad the front desk was not allowed to make coffee at05:30 in the AM and had to wait for a particular person to arrive to make coffee. Bad for business

Covid-19 has changed a lot of things so there was no breakfast option which we paid the extra for, but the girl at the desk was great at fixing that problem right away as we checked in. She answered all our questions, as we were there for an event, and was very helpful. I LOVED that it was so close to the capital. We could walk there easily and fairly quickly. It was a comfy stay and walking distance to almost everything

I really wish there was a hot tub. I have back issues and that is one thing I always look for. My son did enjoy the pool though, but the water was a little chilly

For the most part we liked everything about the facility it has easy access to the things we wanted to do. The staff is very friendly!

It could be due to Covid protocol but during our 4 day 3 night stay the trash in our room was never removed to the point we ended up with just a big pile on the floor. We also were never provided clean towels during the stay. Just a side note there was a convention going on and they seemed to be having a pep rally in the open area after 10 pm.

The staff was so friendly and loved my dog. Always helpful and "felt like home". Definitely staying ahain.

Being woken up by the fire alarm very early! No fire just water line mishap. Again nothing to not make me want to stay ahain.

Location was great with lots of amenities in the local area. Food was excellent!

I would have like the option of having a refrigerator and microwave in my room. The ice maker didn't work on my floor but an employee was very nice and got me some for my room. Thank you again Sam!
