Courtyard Kansas City Country Club Plaza

Beautiful building and amazing location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly as well. The room and bathroom were a good size and very clean.

The noise in the hallway felt like it was in our room. There were loud guests and slamming doors into the late night. The bed was warn and I kept rolling to one side because it was so sunk in on one side. The TV also did not work. A friend and I were away for just the day and wanted a nice evening with no kids and went to watch a movie and the TV kept glitching and restarting every 30-60 seconds so we weren't able to use it.

The location of this property was great! Right at the top of country club plaza and within a short walk to the Kansas City Art Institute where I was dropping off my daughter for the summer. My first night in Kansas City I had a very bad experience at another hotel in town so it was a welcome relief to find this property on Booking.com and come to a beautiful historic builing, with comfy beds and and close to restaurants. My only complaint would be that no one emptied my trash during my stay but I was only there two nights so it wasn't a huge issue.

This is a lovely old apartment building that's been updated to hotel nicely; the room was spacious with big windows and lots of them. Nice big windows in the bathroom even. It may be one of my favorite hotels ever. Location was great; just on the edge of Country Club Plaza so that was all within walking distance. There's a pretty park right across the road.

There's parking on site but it is expensive.

Location was very convenient, room was clean and staff friendly.

The outlet in bathroom was not functional. It was very lose sp when plugging in blow dryer it did not make connection. So we had to use other outlet in the room, fixing our hair without mirror. I did let the front desk attendant know this was not functional when I checked out.

The beds were extremely comfortable including the pillows

Paid parking was unsecured...store prices were outrageous and there was only one trashcan in the room the size of a gallon of paint...

breakfast was great. they allowed us to adjust our selection to meet some dietary restrictions we have. super friendly & helpful. this is just across the street from a city park with one of the most beautiful fountains in the city. one block off the square with shops & architecture that we enjoyed as well.

Wonderful old hotel. Great bar with very friendly bartenders and front desk staff.

The parking situation is terrible. There is a parking area to the rear which is $20 per 12 hours. If one checks in at 3:00 pm, the you need to renew your parking at 3:00 in the morning. Going through the app is complicated and time-consuming.

We’ve stayed here many times! The rooms are all unique-definitely not cookie cutter! Staff is sparse but very accommodating.

We can tell they have not brought staff back. Room could use some love. West entrance was not clean. Parking was extremely dirty and trash everywhere! Furniture in room is looking worn and tacky. Marriott! This is not your standard or this unique property’s standard! KC is back. Bring your standards back to this location please! ALSO: the wooden windows all need repaired or replaced! Placing glass panels over the original windows does not fix the problem. Peeling paint and bugs between the two is quite disgusting and makes us wonder about the cleanliness of the whole building.

Loved how close it is to the plaza

I left behind a Ugg pillow and called several times to see if they could get it back to me. No one ever returned my calls. I also was willing to pay for it to be shipped back to me.
