Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Kalispell, an IHG Hotel

The location was great. You could walk to several restaurants and it was easy to get on and off the highway. Convenient to Glacier National Park. The staff was super nice and helpful. The breakfast was ample, free, and good. The rooms were clean and spacious. The exterior of the hotel was lovely and they had a nice fireplace in the lobby.

The hotel is built next to a highway, and if you happen to get a room that overlooks the highway there is highway noise that could affect your sleep. Request a room away from the highway.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and set up nicely. Everything was clean, and the shower was was one of the first I've seen in a chain hotel that my husband (who is 6'1") would have been able to stand under the shower head without ducking, so that's a nice feature. The breakfast was well stocked, with a good variety of both hot and cold items to get you started on your day. The breakfast area was well layed out and spacious with ample seating as well. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to stay in Kalispell!

The gentleman at the front desk seemed like he was rushing during check in. He told me next to no information about the hotel and its offerings (breakfast time, check out time, etc.) and was very quiet when talking, making it difficult to hear him behind the large counter. He also gave me my room key without telling me my room number or writing the room number down on the card sleeve. He may have something else he was needing to attend to, but I've never stayed at a chain hotel where I wasn't given a rundown of the basic information regarding the hotel and my stay.

I really enjoyed staying here, it is a bit far for Glacier, but it looks brand new, sparkling clean. Breakfast was fabulous. We had a spacious room and a small balcony with view to the mountains. By comparison with other options, not a bad value.

The staff is not the warmest, I was afraid that the check-in guy will ask me to drop and do 20 pushups for not being very explicit with our travel purpose. Usually front desk people are more chatty and inviting, and a smile goes a long way. Entire area is grossly overpriced probably because of location and demand. Following CDC recommendations in regards to masks rather than personal opinions would be advisable.

The location to shopping at Target, Walmart and Costco was excellent, and just a few minutes drive from downtown. The breakfast included egg white omelettes and turkey sausage in addition to the usual fare. Rooms were very clean with plenty of room for my husband and our 10 yro and 13 yro.

At check in the staff was funny and friendly. In the morning it was a younger girl, maybe late teens, that had no customer service skills at all, and seemed put upon to come from the back room to assist at the front desk. I had booked our room directly through Hilton in advance and had the total costs emailed to me at that time. When we checked in, the room was $8 more. Not a big deal, but never had that happen before so was a little surprised.

The location was fine and the breakfast was excellent. The room was very nice and clean. There was only one day where room service did not provide services but otherwise very happy with the hotel and its facilities.

Wish breakfast could have been started a bit earlier....say 0600 since think many visitors were heading to Glacier National Park and therefore an earlier start was preferable. However usually breakfast was aavailable usually 5-10 minutes before 0630 so not a real issue.

One of the best continental breakfasts I've had! Great job on the eggs and the huge variety of breads and fresh fruit and cereal. Even two kinds of sausage were offered, and 4 varieties of juice. My king suite was HUGE, the beds were excellent in comfort. The staff was very kind and informative about Glacier National Park. Thank you!!!

The bathroom had a hairball on the shower drain they forgot to clean up and the bathroom floor was dirty. But we overlooked the bad because everything else was great.

Where to start... The fact that the pool is open 24 hours for adults 18+ and open until 10pm for supervised adolescents even during COVID. They offer a HOT continental breakfast with choices such as bacon, sausage, omelets, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, and cinnamon rolls. In addition to the hot options there is also a wide variety of cereal options, yogurt, bagels, fresh fruit and waffles😋 Not to mention the staff member serving breakfast was extremely friendly and I was always impressed with her great customer service! So Thank you to Jessica!! You made my experience here exceptional!!

Nothing I didn’t like about this location!

The location was spectacular. We had all the shopping we needed right around the location. We had some great restaurants. We enjoyed the hotel. It was clean and comfortable. It was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was really good - way better than I expected! The shower had some good pressure. The bed was comfortable.

Everything was excellent.

Price of course. And I don't feel the reward system anymore gets you anything period. I think everything you stay you should get a discount on the next stay.

Hospitality top notch. Friendly staff, all smiles, very accommodating. Great experience! Clean washing & drying facilities...going home with clean clothing...ALWAYS A PLUS! Plenty of after hour parking avaliable, major shopping, i.e., Walmart, grocery stores, and eateries.

Pricey, however8 expected.
