Friendly, helpful staff. Well appointed and comfortable common areas. Convenient location for my needs. Food was excellent, both the breakfast served at the hotel and at the Grain House Restaurant which is located in a seperate building across the parking lot from the hotel. Room was spacious enough and well appointed.

The mattress on the bed I slept in should probably be replaced. Worn down on one side such that I was sleeping on a slant. Not terrible, but not the best.

This is a delightful place that is even better than it might appear from the description on the website. The staff were friendly and helpful; the room was exceptionally well-appointed and comfortable - mine had a full kitchenette supplied with all one needed, a closet with a good iron and ironing board, an extra sink outside the bathroom, all needed supplies, good plugs for working, an excellent desk and office chair, a very comfortable bed, table, and more.

We have used this facility before as it is close to the Airport when arriving in from long distance travel. It offers a comfortable stay about 40 mins from Newark Airport.. Rooms are spacious, and cozy - bed is comfortable, much needed after a LONG flight journey - there is a Restaurant close by - so One can grab something to take out and eat in comfort in the calm of the room. Last time we stayed it was over a weekend - so NO Hot breakfast - just a mix of light breakfast snacks. This time the stay was mid-week - which resulted in a good hot breakfast - basic - nothing too fancy.. The only funny thing, was that there was ONE Salt unit provided for the eating space, so you needed to chase the Salt pot around. Made, however for a good conversation with other Guests...

Not fond of the Plastic Plates & Bowls - would prefer to actually eat from china ware - was happy to see that the Coffee/Tea cups were at least china!!

Beautiful lobby. Wish we had time to eat at the restaurant on site; their menu looked delicious and upscale.

Rooms could use some updating. Staff were wishy washy about allowing our dog. One person said it was okay if paid a pet deposit; another staff member said they didn’t allow dogs, and one said she had to make sure they had a room available for a dog…. As if people with pets are only allowed in certain rooms. No sure. But ultimately our dog was allowed and we paid an extra $75 a night for him to be there.

Clean and comfortable though not exactly my taste in terms of interior decoration. Good beds. Excellent soundproofing; very quiet though located right next to a busy Interstate highway. Efficient air-conditioning though rather noisy; no option to regulate the fan speed.

The hot breakfast buffet was rather disappointing. Limited choices, coffee of inferior quality, cramped space, more like a slightly wider hallway than a breakfast room (let alone a restaurant). More like what you expect at a Comfort Inn or similar chains.

Very comfy rooms. Loved the porch overlooking the little interior garden. It is right off the interstate, so it is a very smart accomodation for the traveler needing to hop on the road, but also for those needing a more luxe stay. It has a fun history, and the Grain House Restaurant was a cool landmark to have meals during your stay. It is 20 min drive from big box stores. There is a garden nursey and farm you can pick your own apples (i think) close by, which would be a fun family activity!

This hotel is very popular for weddings...which is fine, but the guests and music were quite loud. The doors also shut very loudly, so it made me jump when someone went in or out. During the weddings they keep other hotel guests away from the garden area and outdoor fireplace, which was a bit sad, since I think it is the best spot in the hotel to relax. It didnt stop me from sneaking out there to eat my dinner by the fireplace tho, no one cared really. 😉

A nice hotel with good facilities, seems to be pretty popular for weddings. Located on the edge of greater New York, which was perfect for us for the night we spent there. Good restaurant. Large, clean room. The price we paid was also quite fair for the area and the quality of accommodation.

Nothing in particular; just nothing much exciting in the area around the property.

I love the uniqueness of this property and the way it is always immaculate and beautifully decorated for the season. I like the glasses for water, the water provided, and the real mugs for coffee. Small touches that mean a lot. I also love that the restaurant is on the property and I can go have an amazing dinner and then walk back to my room. As a solo traveler I always feel safe here.

Unique Inn, even had a suite of armor in one nook and cranny . Great restaurant, classy menu but not over the top. Excellent location and parking. Room had ceramic mugs for morning Keurig provided. Great Beekman assortment in bath

A little dated in the hall way rugs. Some chipping on bathroom door. up stairs sitting area was too warm for me, but middle level was nice

Beautiful surroundings! Unique furnishings, and the staff was very friendly! Even though there was a wedding reception occurring, it was fairly quiet. Awesome breakfast included! Staff was super helpful!

The upscale associated restaurant seemed too fancy to be family style with young children, and on the weekend family restaurants and other amenities closed down early
