We love this Inn. It's an outstanding location close to the beach, Washington Mall and so many restaurants. The rooms are bright and clean. We were upgraded to a suite and we were happy we took it. The suite is large with great views. The owner/staff are so helpful and appreciated your business. We'll certainly return. We highly recommend.

We took a mini-vacation in January not realizing the sister hotel, Congress Hall was closed. The Star Inn guest have use of the Congress Hall amenities. This is a great benefit staying at this warm, cosy Inn.

Booked a surprise overnight stay for our Anniversary. Spoke to Gigi in concierge and she helped me with setting up Anniversary balloons, chocolates and a bottle of Prosecco in the room to welcome my husband when we checked in. The woman at the front desk was very sweet and made sure the items were set up before we checked in. The town is adorable and relaxing with plenty of restaurants and shops to browse. Beach was beautiful. The Inn was clean and cozy and the perfect walking distance to everything.

Staff (Barbara) was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I liked that they were in contact with us ahead of our stay with a concierge line and kept in contact with us while we were there to see if we needed anything. Mostly though we loved the LOCATION! It was absolutely perfect!

It was a cold & windy couple of days we were there in the off season. Would've been just a little more comfy if there had been a better seating situation in the room.

The Star Inn is in a wonderful location. They did a great job making the inn feel updated while still maintaining the Cape May Charm. We expected an ocean view from our room, but it ended up being more impressive than expected. Parking was also convenient. We forgot our phone charger, and they were nice enough to call and say they would mail it back for us. I would highly recommend the Star Inn.

Everyone was very helpful and pleasant, we checked in just after 5 pm so we had to check inn at Congress Hall. Close to the Walk. Still an off time of year but we enjoyed our getaway! After arriving home they sent a message to me stating they found my watch under the bed, But. It was not mine. I replied back and let them know. Honesty goes along way. Thank you all and i hope they were able to find its owner

Room alittle Small.

The bed is perfection! Sheets and towels are lovely! The couch was cozy too. The manager Brian was incredibly nice and helpful. The Inn host (can’t recall name) greeted us at check inn and was also very nice and gave us good info around what would be open. (We went off season in the winter) Location is 100%

Loved that is was walking distance to Washington square and Congress Hall Loved the boutique hotel decor ! Staff at the front desk were very friendly ! The bed was very comfortable !

It was a little loud , especially in the morning when people were leaving ,slamming doors and talking loudly not a lot of noise buffering

The Star offers a small coffee shop, but their is food in every direction. very short walk to the mall, Congress Hall across the street and the best breakfast is at George's on the corner. The Beach is a 3 minute walk with plenty of shops also close bye.

if we're being picky....the area is pretty busy but not horrible. Late nights depending upon your room location can be a little loud (in the streets if you are a light sleeper. Sheets in the bed were dried out (not soft), they were actually a little itchy, like they were bleached to death. Also the walls are pretty thin in this place. everyone can hear everyone else's conversations, TV, etc. door snap back so they tend to slam. like I said picky little stuff. you're here for the town, the beach and everything that Cape may and that end of town has to offer. bring ear plugs or a little background music and you'll sleep soundly.

Unfortunately this is the season when everything closes early and nothing to do in the evenings , I came back into room expecting to relax and watch a little tv, but the tv wasn’t working properly and no channels were coming in .

The Star was great. Barbara from the front desk made our Anniversary and my birthday, special. Location was perfect, walking distance to restaurants and the center of town. Beach was about two blocks away, we received lounge chair’s and towels, and a menu. What a perfect day.
