The room was great, they gave us a portable air conditioner which we used and it worked perfectly. The location is great and we enjoyed each meal and the facilities.

I didn't like that the cleaning services did not end up coming to clean our room. The cleaning women left all of their supplies along the wall outside our door all day. When we came back late afternoon to relax before a wedding, they were extremely loud outside our door. My only real complaint is that the walls are paper thin and since our room happened to be near the stair case and the elevator, you literally heard everything even if people weren't being loud. The walls are paper thin.

This is a lovely historic beachfront hotel that really tries to keep the tradition of a calm, relaxing beach vacation. There were excellent amenities, like beach chairs and umbrella included, and the atmosphere and location can't be beat. Our group spent a lovely evening on the porch with some great drinks and bar snacks. The service of the bellhops was really excellent.

The hotel is old and had some quirks- one of the lights in the closet wouldn't turn off, the bathroom door didn't latch properly and the room was smaller than expected. I also thought that the queen suite would have a single bed along with the two queen ones. But these are pretty minor and expected for a place that is this old.

Staff was super friendly and accommodating and the Inn itself was beautiful and had lots of charm. It's a close walk to the beach and not a far walk from the downtown shops - so location is perfect! Our room was clean, beds and pillows were comfortable, and the rooms had air condition, toiletries, robes, and towels.

The walls are pretty thin at the Inn, so you can hear others if they are staying close by and/or in a neighboring room; although it was not that disruptive during our stay!

The property's modern touches don't take away from the yesteryear charm. I think the designers hit the nail on the head. Bedding was extremely comfortable as was the window AC unit. Breakfast at Oceans 7 was very good. Staff is very accommodating. Parking lot is directly across the street.

Shower plumbing was not functioning correctly. Had to constantly fuss with the faucets to maintain a normal temp. Bathroom door would not shut completely. Plastic cups in the room. Disappointing at this price point.

We loved pretty much everything, cozy, beautifully decorated staff was so nice and accommodating. This was a girls trip. We r a group of girls from childhood that ha e stuck together and will forever. Thank you for your hospitality, we will be back!🤗🎄🎅👍

Other then not having a TV, ( which we didn't need at all. The refrigerator we were charged for everyday. All of the hotels I've stayed in they included it. Not a big deal tho. Could have used a little more water pressure, but whatever, it's an old Inn. Honestly we loved it.❤️ rooms are small, it's from the 1800s. Just an FYI. But fine.

The building is a beautiful old charming building. it is well kept given the history of the building. The front porch is lovely. We enjoyed cocktails and the live music on the porch, as well as breakfast and coffee. Servers on the porch were wonderful. During our stay we hard a fire alarm issue and the management team offered breakfast to all guests. The breakfast was delicious. They went above and beyond for the guest.

There was really nothing negative about this Historic Inn. We were there during the aftermath of Ian. It was raining cold and wet but we still enjoyed our stay.

The staff was exceptional from the hotel, coffee bar, and liquor bar were all courteous and always had smiles to greet you.

Disappointed about the room. The Demi room pictures online did not match the very plain, extremely dated bathroom. The room was small and plain. The air conditioning hardly worked . We requested a mini fridge and it was old and expensive for a room we were already paying top dollar for.

We loved the location. The hotel was clean and quiet, and the staff was friendly. We enjoyed the fire in the lobby which was really nice since we stayed in January. The room was renovated and we loved how it was decorated with lots of natural light as well.

We weren’t impressed with the breakfast at Ocean 7 in the hotel. The staff was great but the food wasn’t very good. We went because we had a voucher but if we were to visit again we would definitely go somewhere else.

My sister and I enjoyed our sisters weekend in Cape May--This is the first time that we stayed at the Inn of Cape May--It was a great experience! We enjoyed the front porch where we sat and laughed. We enjoyed the room which was clean and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. We even enjoyed the elevator ride up to the 4th floor! It was a great experience! We will definitely come back to the Inn of Cape May.

The gentlemen at the front door went above and beyond! It was so nice to see smiling faces when arriving and were extremely helpful with our bags. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were surprisingly quiet - considering its an old building. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Cape May.

That the cafe was shut down at 3pm. It would have been nice to get a late coffee.
