the only thing didn’t like was the pool the water was too cold my kids wasn’t able to go in because was freezing and I reserve you guys with pool because they love going to pool but was disappointed because the water of the pool

Given that we just booked this as an overnight stay whilst we were on the way back to the airport (JFK) afer a few weeks road trip in the US and Canada we weren't expecting much as I just went for somewhere cheap that included breakfast and had free parking. I was pleasantly surprised - the hotel was well appointed, staff were friendly and we also used the gym whilst there. As mentioned, there was free parking (and plenty of it). Our room was very spacious and also had a fridge and microwave in which is a bonus whilst you're travelling and have some food/ drinks with you. I thought this was really good value for money and wish some of the other places we stayed on our trip were as good.

I would say the breakfast wasn't great. The continental side was absolutley fine (bagels/ toast/ waffles etc), but the cooked side left quite a lot to be desired. There were only a few hot things and hands down the worst scrambled eggs I have ever eaten in my life - it was like eating styrofoam. However, as mentioned this was a quick stopover for us, so it didn't put a downer on the stay overall.

We liked how friendly and helpful staff were. We had a handful of questions and each was answered thoroughly and did not feel like we were bothering them!! The location was great and loved that there was a bus to NYC within a 2 minute walk along with other attractions such as movies and stores. American Dream Mall and MetLife were so close and easy to get to from the hotel. The hotel breakfast was good with a variety of options and having the Red Robin attached was convenient!

The pool area could be a little bit cleaner. There was hair around the pool deck and in the pool. The water was also not very warm.

The room my family and I stayed in was very comfortable. It was clean, and housekeeping came everyday, which was a plus. The breakfast that’s included was amazing. My family loved it.

The things I didn’t like were 1, the pool closed the day after we got there due to maintenance. One of the reasons we booked this hotel was for the indoor pool. It could have been stayed on the website, if not already. 2, Our bathroom had flood one day, so the front desk was called to resolve the issue. The gentleman at the front desk told me to turn some type of switch off behind the toilet. I’m a guest, so I had no clue about a switch to stop a flooding toilet. The water had came out into our room. Maintenance came “fixed” the toilet. Although At that point, I feel as if another room could have been offered. I didnt see why not.

The Stuff decided to open my room while I was out and had the no disturb sign added, they changed the primary door lock without updating me with new keys, and they didn't call me to ask if they could do that while I was out nor informed me later, literally, I was out and came back to my room, tried to open the door and noticed that the lock system changed, wish made me so confused if I'm at the wrong room, I went to the office to check and they weren't even saying sorry about miscommunication, they just said yes we changed locks here is the new key, the receptionist was not professional at all.

The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good and a decent selection. Location was close to the American dream mall and easy to get to.

That the pool had stated it was open on the site and it was closed and even the sign on the door stated it would be open June 1st and it was not. The doors are not very sound proof so you can hear everything. The smell of the air conditioning wasn't great but bareable.

I like that they gave good service. It was clean . Breakfast was great.

However they were no microwaves or fridge in room. Also if your trying to get sleep at night this is not the place for you. My 7 year old was woke up every night with slaming doors loud music and parting in the hallways. We called front desk and they came up but as soon as they left the noises started again. We stayed 4 nights finally on the last night it was not as bad.

Comfortable beds, rooms are clean, staff is nice and polite, free parking and the price is reasonable.

Noisy, especially at night (but maybe we were unlucky to have neighbors who weren’t able to communicate without shouting at each other at every word ☹️). Breakfast is ok but the room is packed and the 2nd day there was even a long line before we could go in.

The location was great. Bed was very comfortable and very clean room.

The check-in staff could have been a bit friendlier. She checked us in under a completely different name and did not even apologize for her error. The accessible room was loud. You could hear everything going on outside in the hallway. This is due to gaps around the door (when closed!)
