I have stayed here about 4 or 5 times because of the location. For the most part it's a nice place and convenient to highways & trains & the staff is very nice.

Breakfast never starts at 6:00 a.m. and if you have to be somewhere early you're always running 15-20 minutes behind & if you don't get there as soon as they start serving the food, I noticed they don't replenish it and you're out of luck. Also, outside in the front when you enter is always full of garbage, ashtray overflowing with trash and cigarette butts all around. They need to clean it up more often and power wash the front. It looks like the ghetto from outside.

The facilites, the room was clean and good size. Beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom and towel were clean. Ths check in waa fast as wel as check out.

The breakfast was from 7am to 10am. However by 9am most of the food run out. There was not oatmeal and a ladie say it they didn't have more. The had waffles but were only one flavor, the regular one run out, and there was not oil for the waffle maker. . There was a messed on the tables were the food was. The toaster was malfunctioning and the trash can was full. The pool was out of service however there was no a sign about it. We askes a housekeeper. The a/c didn't have a remote control and my niece was freezing but the temperature was not able go being regulated

Pleasant environment. Helpful at front desk. Clean common areas. Parking availability. Quiet, relaxing facility. Easy travel to and from.

Room 320 bathroom sink drain was stopped up. Had to use kitchen sink most of the time for personal use. Water drained very slow. Left dirt rings. Had an engagement to attend to I was press for time in allowing maintenance to work on during my stay. The light switch plate in kitchen was hanging off and half was missing. The bed was rickety. To just sit down on it it creaked but the mattress was great. It didn't effect my sleeping. Nice room, clean but the 3 issues above took away from the room being a 10.

Good location if you want to fight jetlag after landing at Newark International and/or for short visits to Manhattan. A regular bus brings you from the airport to the other side of the river and there is a short walk to a railway station (Broad Street). Rooms, beds etc. are cozy and comfortable. Breakfast starts from 6am and thus gives you good options to reach Manhattan early (if needed). The staff sends a copy of invoice to your e-mail - you even do not need to ask.

Breakfast is generally fine to start a day but might have some more variety.

We absolutely loved our stay once again. This hotel has become our go-to for quick getaways. The price is always right and the staff is so good! In particular, a young lady at the desk (K. Phoenix) was there for our last night. We had such a hard time finding parking after a late night and anticipating an early morning to avoid holiday traffic. She really helped us make something work and gave us peace of mind about our vehicle. Even after waking up later than we expected, she assured us that we were just fine. Upon our arrival at check in, the young men at the desk made the process a breeze. The bed was exceptionally clean as well as the overall appearance of the room. I have very sensitive skin and have yet to experience any issues with the linens/towels. Location is great to get to Irvington, Elizabeth and East Orange in decent time. Great food options very close by, we highly reccomend Urban Tabdoor if you're a fan of Indian delicacies! It really was a great stay!

Some of the fixtures near the bed and the bathroom had some wear and tear, but nothing drastic enough to demand different placement.

When I turned on the shower. Brown water came out. Also, the location description is not accurate. Ot states that it is walking distance to the American Dream and it definitely was not. I had to pay tolls to get to the place and back.

Breakfast was always much the same. But, We were there 12 days. The room when clean was not properly vacuum. the floors were very dirty. Overall the stay was good.

The TV channel/cable stations The fire alarm went off a few times. That was alarming.

The first staff member when I arrived was very thorough and was able to help everyone she had there. She was very friendly (remember it takes two) when I got up to her (I did not wait long at all) I asked her about my room and she said "I will take care of you" the room was nice spacious and clean. She gave me everything I needed for my stay. We laughed a bit and off I went. I had no problem with parking. (There is plenty of parking on the property) walking through the halls and seeing different staff members, everyone was friendly and greeted me as I greeted them as well! The breakfast was over the top. The young lady running the Breakfast made sure everything was hot, fresh super tasty( you have to have the potatoes) I am a vegetarian and had no problem eating ( I probably had more than anyone else there) 😋 There is a gas station right next door so you can get snacks and waters or what ever floats your boat. Thank you once again for a wonderful experience and taking care of me. I used my towels the first night I got there. I went down to the front desk and she did the Michael Jackson spin around and I had fresh towels. I will be staying there on my next business trip!

The reviews of others on this page. I almost changed hotels reading them. Because I give and thorough review of everything including the part that I played. Was I friendly or was I the actual problem. If (which I did not have any problems) how did I handled the problem. When giving reviews people forget to add there part.

Everything and everyone was so nice, from the time we arrived to the time we checked out. Very knowledgeable, respectful, and professional staff. Catered to our needs. Very helpful offering suggestions when needed. The rooms were nice and clean and they had everything in them. I was even pleased to have an ice maker on the floor. The continental breakfast was even good. We will definitely make this our home away from home when in the area.

There was nothing that I did not like!!!!

The location. The handicapped bathroom was a nice size.

Countertops/tables in room were dirty. Pillows are too small. Breakfast was horrible. Parking has a fee each night but the lot is very small. Parking should be free! Fire alarm sounded multiple times during my stay. Staff came into room without permission to clean it.
