The staff was very friendly, the pool and Jacuzzi were salt water which is way better for your skin. The hotel is right on the main street and the Agave restaurant had the most amazing food and margaritas.

The long walk to the room

The location of the hotel was great. You were right in the Old Town and everything was just a short walk. Entering the Hotel was everything was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. the restaurant was delicious and so were the margaritas. The pool was beautiful although a bit cold. The staff handled guests that were being rude not being able to drink alcohol in the spa very well as they were drunk and revolting to a young staff member.

The air-conditioning is our room did not work well and it did get hot.

We loved our room on the 5th floor. It overlooked the town and was beautiful all lit up at night. The skyline and sunsets were gorgeous. The restaurant dining was delicious. We had breakfast, lunch by the pool, happy hour in the lounge with lounge bites. The green chile cheeseburger was so good!

The only issue we had at all was the temperature of our room was on the warm side, even though set to 66. We kept the curtains closed until evening when it was cooler out so we wouldn't let the heat inside. It wasn't the end all, but would have been more comfortable if the room stayed a little cooler.

Eldorado Hotel is a beautiful hotel and in an awesome location. It is right on the main drag and about a 5 minute walk to the Plaza. Its restaurant, Agave, is wonderful, and has a cozy bar area. There is also another bar, Cava, which is behind the main lobby. Every single staff member I encountered was exceptionally friendly and courteous. They truly go above and beyond. I also appreciated that you could text message the front desk staff. Their customer service is unmatched, in my opinion. I enjoyed the outdoor hot tub, especially in 30 degree weather. The backdrop for the pool and hot tub is beautiful mountain scenery.

Just my personal preferences--- I wish the pillows were a bit firmer for more neck support, and the comforter was a bit heavier. I realize I am writing this review in January, so in the summer it might be nicer to have less bedding.

We've stayed at the Eldorado a number of times over the past 25 years. It is a beautiful facility in a great location near the Plaza and lots of good restaurants.

Our room had a few issues that were taken care of quickly once we reported them. They were simple things that should have been dealt with on a routine basis, hence the overall rating of 8 instead of 9. The elevators were out a few times during our stay, but I would think that this is not a common problem.

Excellent location for a stay in Santa Fe. Beautiful pool and jacuzzi with drink service and mountain view. Delicious breakfast. Front desk staff was helpful, especially with repair and then replacement of the the room safe.

Furniture in the room needs to be updated. Bathroom needs additional hooks and conveniences. Only one side of the bed has sockets and media ports - they need to install them on both sides of the bed.

I like that they had two hot tubs and the pool was heated but not to the point it felt like another hot tub. The staff were awesome and super kind.

The bar downstairs as well as the rooftop bar never seemed to be open when we would try and go which was normally between 6-9. Also the rooftop was not very visible, I would definitely think about switching where the bathrooms are with the bar or knock down the wall that has the safety signs on it so you can easily get to the bar and put the signs somewhere a little more visible.

The location was first-rate as it was within easy walking distance of the main attractions; museums, restaurants and interesting stores. The breakfast menu offered a good choice of dishes. The two beds in our room were extremely comfortable.

Our room was lacking adequate lighting; one corner was completely dark. On arrival, it was very disappointing to find that all hotel amenities were closed on Mondays. This seems unacceptable for a 4-star property!

It’s was beautiful. Convenient location of down town. The pool is gorgeous and two hot tubs. All of the staff was very kind and friendly. I’m absolutely pleased with this stay. Water bottles were free and my favorite was being able to text with the front desk for questions or assistance

If I had to choose, there wasn’t too much information presented for the spa services. Was a missed opportunity but will definitely check it out next stay!

location is great. close to restaurants and stores and plaza. staff is amazing. rooms are roomy and beds super comfortable. valet parking is convenient and makes parking easy. food onsite delicious.

expensive but I guess makes sense with location. room is dated. bathroom sink full of gnats when we checked in and came back after we cleaned it. hotel is very accepting of pets but there really isn’t a convenient place to take them out. easiest way is out front entrance across the street. Hilton next door has a nice little pet area .
