The hotel was new, clean, modern, and spacious. I love all. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was sufficient and fresh. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I appreciate seeing the nice, simple outdoor space (patio chairs, green space for a short walk). Plenty parking space for all!

Perhaps the shortage of the general staff. I wasn't sure, but one person was doing the multiple jobs at once, even though she was great. If I was in a hurry to get help, I would feel inconvenient. However, they were all really great. For future travel, I wish the company hired more staff. Overall, it was great. The size of the swimming pool was very minimal from outside, so don't expect to be a bigger space. Good enough for little kids.

Excellent stay. Clean, spacious room and very quiet. Excellent hot breakfast with lots of options. The design choices made in the room are well thought out and make the room accessible. From automatic blackout blinds to shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and lotion mounted to the wall, plus a sliding door to the bathroom.

Generous number of channels for the tv but no guide to show what was on or how to access. Also would have been helpful to have a printed paper/booklet to outline hotel amenities and times (breakfast, pool time etc). A guide for nearby places to eat and attractions would have been helpful as well.

This hotel is super convenient for visiting UB. We were there for our son's graduation and it was so close that we could have walked. The rooms are nicely sized, everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Perfect for a short stay.

The breakfast was okay, but although it say it last until 10am, if you come after 9:15am you will not get most of the food options... There were a lot of people, including us, that couldn't get to the healthy choices.

I love the friendly service. My room was very clean . I love the variety at breakfast and how clean they keep the area. They stay very busy cleaning the area and re stocking it. We stay often to visit our son in the area and always choose this location. Tiana is so friendly and nice and makes us fell like we are visiting family. We appreciate the fresh coffee and tea selection and love how clean it is kept.

Something that could be better is a perk I received at a different location and that is a complimentary snack offering. For example another location had a tray of cookies for their guests to enjoy.

I had a great stay at Hampton Inn Buffalo on our way back from Niagara Falls to the Buffalo airport. The hotel's location is convenient, offering free parking, spacious rooms, a laundry room, and a lovely pool. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. It made our stopover truly enjoyable!

While the selection of the free breakfast at Hampton Inn Buffalo wasn't extensive, we did find it satisfying. The overall stay was pleasant, and the breakfast was a decent start to our day.

Since we discovered this hotel, it has become our "place to go" when we visit Amherst, which we do at least 4 times a year. It's always nice spending the night there after the drive from Toronto and a busy day at the shops, as it simply provides you with all a traveller needs and looks for. The staff is always friendly and helpful, The place is quiet, clean and well cared for. Rooms are spacious, airy, sunny and always spotless, plus very well equipped. Same can be said about their rather nice bathrooms. The internet service is very good and the beds and linen excellent. The hotel also provides a very good breakfast, with gluten free option among cereal and a surprising variety of hot and cold dishes, fresh fruit and very good yogurt. Besides, coffee - regular and decaf - and hot water are also available in the lobby all day long along with hot water and disposable plates and napkins.

Everything is great. Keep going.

The hotel staff, especially Kristen, was incredibly helpful in getting settled in and finding local activities. During the course of the weekend, we needed to find restaurants, and shopping, and they were polite, friendly and very clear in all directions and advice. One more word about Kristen, if I may. She immediately put us at our ease and made us feel calm and welcome. When we needed extra towels she was extremely accommodating.

Amherst Manor Dr isn't marked well, but that's Amherst's problem, not Hampton. The directions could mention to turn at the Gastro Enterology center, which is the landmark where you turn off of Maple rd.

For us, we really like the location, and as Hampton Inns go, this one is rather lovely.

The breakfast is adequate, but the location of the coffee is in the main lobby and you have to walk to that area to get it. It is rather inconvenient, and honestly makes no sense. If the hotel chain wishes to serve coffee all day in the lobby, that's fine, but there should also be another set of urns in the breakfast area. Also, they ran out of coffee and food (was not appropriately re-filled in a timely manner) so we had to wait.

The overall visit was excellent. The hotel is new and beautiful. The lobby is inviting and comfortable. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The breakfast well exceeded my expectations- fresh made waffles, omelettes, muffins/bagels/breads, oatmeal, fruit…. Fantastic. The morning team was super friendly and helpful.

I have to try and be picky here- The afternoon receptionist was not particularly friendly. She was polite, but not very welcoming. If I was Anthony Melchiorre (Hotel Impossible) I’d point out the dust accumulation in the corners of the bathroom, the visible mildew in the overflow drain of the sink (not the main drain), the dust in the refrigerator cabinet). My white duvet did appear to have been stepped on as it had a dirty spot.

We had been at this hotel previously, during one of our regular short trips to the US. Living a little over an hour by car from the border, we like to go to Amherst a few times a year, be it to do some shopping or on our way to other destinations like the Finger Lakes or Rochester. The hotel's location is very convenient for our regular shopping sprees and a great place to rest and recover. The rooms are big, airy, sunny and absolutely spotless, like the rest of the hotel. Bathrooms are simply fantastic, with some of the best showers you can have. It's quiet, very efficiently managed and breakfast is a bonus: simple but good choices and abundant, plus a 4 hours window to enjoy it which, combined with 12.00 pm checkout, accommodates whatever your schedule may be. We will be back.

Everything was excellent. No complains at all.
