Staff was exceptional and very helpful. My reservation via booking.com did not show on hotel system. I had a confirmation email from the booking site however. Thankfully they did have the suite available so it worked out. The clerk double checked everything to ensure I wasn’t charged twice which was on his own initiative and it was reassuring and saved me the hassle of checking myself. Additional toiletries were needed and the clerk added a few goodies (cream and a toothbrush) as extras which was thoughtful.

The bathroom ventilation fan was not working as well as the electrical outlet in the bathroom. Also the sliding glass door had a problem with the track so it was difficult to slide to open or close

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great. I liked the interior design of the main lounge. It was a good experience staying here.

When we arrived, we asked about the view of our room. We were not given a good view, so we came back to the front desk and asked for the room to be replaced. The receptionist changed the room for us. We appreciate it, but it would have been better if we had a good view from the beginning since we asked for it.

Room and hotel was very clean, showed up a little before check-in and was still able to get my room. Very glad to have blackout blinds along with blinds that let in light. Shower heated up quickly.

There was a vent in bathroom but it either didn't work or didn't have a fan in it which I found unusual for a hotel. The pool area was very warm and the pool itself was also too warm to enjoy unfortunately.

Cleanliness of the hotel and room size. Breakfast was also great. Friendly staff.

Initially disappointed when evening front desk told us that their airport shuttle was unavailable as it was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel and that because of this we were going to be paying for an airport taxi. Everything was eventually resolved when the morning front desk staff Justin and Kiara took care of our transportation to the airport.

We were beyond pleased with our stay at Hyatt Place Amherst! Our room was extremely clean and pleasant, the staff was very friendly, always smiling, and so eager to make sure we were happy during our stay. The lobby snack bar was great for our late night munchies, and the complimentary breakfast the next morning was delicious! We ate outside by the fire pit, relaxed and enjoyed an extra cup of coffee. During our checkout we chatted with the staff about the concert we went to the night before, and they were so friendly! We didn’t want to leave the Hyatt Amherst, and will definitely be back to visit again soon!

The service was not that good - the person who checked us in was also the waitress for the restaurant that night, the bartender was also the cook! We tried to have dinner there and the waitress was so stressed she ended up being a bit rude. She wasn’t sure she could serve us as it got close to closing time. All the customers orders were delayed. Not sure if staff didn’t show up because of the snow that day. This hotel needs more staff!

The breakfast was good. We stayed at this hotel seven years ago, when it first opened. That's why we went back.

That they didn't not rooms for guests that are allergic to animal dander. Although they did find us a room that was not used for many animals. Hotels should have designated rooms where no animals are allowed. The staff did the best to accommodate us.

Staff was friendly and professional. Quiet and clean. Decor referenced Buffalo, New York architecture. Overall positive experience.

We had booked a room with a king bed for four nights. When we checked in we requested a change to a room with two queen beds. We were disappointed to be charged $10 more per night.

My sons shirt and cell phone were stolen from the pool area. Management went back to look at video but couldn’t find the culprit. We called the phone and someone answered it and swore at us. We did finally get it back but it was stressful at the end of the day with 4 kids. Didn’t end our night well. Also disappointed that the cameras couldn’t have been of better help.

This room is very big, quiet, clean with good view, breakfast is very good and more than we expected. Elevator is very roomy and efficient. Staff is very helpful and polite.

Everything went well except that the phone line was not working, and no connection on TV either. I booked two nights in this hotel but unfortunately we had to leave due to our plan changed. This was no refund in this case. Hope that we can get some credit for future stay.
