I would like to mention Felix the bell person… super super nice and helpful … and Paul at front desk… he gets things done! also housekeeping is lovely and clean! I did encounter a few little not- so-good-things… my sink in the bathroom was slow to drain and was not fixed although mentioning it several times… the sofa in my room was old and not clean looking … needs to be replaced… the sheets are scratchy not soft . they do include a free breakfast on weekdays…. which is a nice surprise… but it’s not great just very very basic and staff allocated to help with breakfast seem overworked and harried… plus the breakfast room itself doesn’t get cleaned up after patrons have eaten and leave… so it’s hard to even find a clean table…

staff is lovely for the most part… Felix and Paul are great… housekeeping cleans well and are very nice! rooms are good size and location is good!

The staff was super friendly and very attentive. They always greet you at the front desk when you are coming and going. The close proximity to my son's school is also the best feature. It is also to close to many shops, restaurants, and getting to and from the airport is so easy.

I was thinking I would be in a different layout of room, but that was not my main concern. The main problem or issue was that both tv's did not work properly. Both were clitchy and the picture was not clear. This would have been a really big issue if my husband would have been with me. Especially considering that there was U.S. Open tennis during this trip. He would have been watching that and would have been pretty bummed out that the picture was so bad. Other than that, my stay was awesome.

Good location for dining in the evening, good selection of different options close by, close to the public transport, large, comfortable rooms. Very frindly lady at breakfast.

Staff at first check-in could be more friendly, no hello, smile or welcome, just asked name. As check-in was not straight forward conveyed feeling of not being able to get her explanations, kind of unfriendly. Much better experience with other staff members. Breakfast was claimed to be exceptional. Was nice but we had better selection during our three weeks trip, toaster would be good. Hotel is right at the train track and noise in the rooms in the lower floor pointing to the tracks is disturbing sleep even with the good windows the room, was absolutely fine in the higher floors.

Excellent location near the train to the city, the arrangement of the rooms daily, very spacious rooms, a small kitchenette in the equipped room, the possibility of parking in the hotel and next to it. A short walking distance from synagogues

The double bed is not suitable for people taller than 1.8 meters

Breakfast was good- would wish sausages were readily available. I do have a concern for anyone eating halal or kosher food as usually they would tend to avoid contact of food such as scrambled eggs with bacon. Bar staff (especially Bria) were lovely and prompt with their services- great Long Island Iced Tea! Housekeeping did well and reception were friendly too.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED INN AT GREAT NECK....IT WAS PERFECT....I DEFINITELY WILL BE BACK....I CAN NOT THINK OF THE DOORMAN NAME(FELIX) Im NOT SURE ...HE WAS THE BEST... I WANT HIM TO BE RECOGNIZED FOR HIS GREAT WORKMANSHIP/PREFORMANCE WHILE RESPECTING THE COMPANY....

Normally its always something that wasn't quite right when mostly writing a review on a company/business BT IT was not 1 thing that I did not like about INN AT GREAT NECK...KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.....

This stay was for 2 purposes: 1, to isolate my husband from the rest of the family after his trip from the west (to make sure no covid;) and 2) to enable him to continue work from "home" (in this case the Inn at Great Neck. ) The wi-fi was strong and the desk area was very well suited (my husband told me) to being able to work comfortably. The King room was spacious and, being on the 5th floor, gave a lot of natural light to the room. There was a coffee maker and refrigerator in the room which was helpful during long work days. The breakfast was minimal but adequate -- largely due, I believe, to the fact that with covid and omicron still going on, everything was reduced for safety. But my husband had dinner one night at the Inn and said the salmon was delicious. Every safety measure was in place from distancing to masks, etc. So dining was a plesure. Also, I personally had not been to the Inn since some of its earliest days when I took a girlfriend there for her birthday breakfast, Those were (obviously) in pre-pandemic days. And that breakfast was sumptuous and really delightful. I'm confident the return to "normal" will mean sumptuous breakfasts again. Just a word of thanks to the Hotel staff and booking.com -- thanks for being understanding when my husband missed (airline fault, no his) his connecting flight to NYC, so the room reservation had to be altered for one day later arrival and one day later checkout. All that was done easily, so thanks for making that accommodation. The Inn is also in a good place for light shopping and good lunches and dinners - everything is nearby and walking distance to the Inn.

Everything was fine. No dislikes.

Cooperation with staff about finding places to park; having the coffee readily available; perfect morning complimentary breakfast with some items one could take on the go; terrific access to LIRR; ease of using business center...

Nothing-maintain your quality

We are visiting friends living in Great Neck, and the hotel is very close to the train station, so the location is perfect for us. The rooms are comfortable and clean.

The AC in our room doesn't work well. It was too warm at night so we had to turn off the AC, then it was a little cold...

I really liked the bed. I liked the deep tub.

By mistake we were hijacked from the hotel website to some other website and ended up booking twice. The hotel was unforgiving and could have really applied the second payment to a future stay which is coming up in four weeks time but they refused to.
