Travelodge by Wyndham Manhasset

I travelled from the UK and spent one week at the hotel. The hotel was much better than expected. However I must say the staff were exceptional and delivered a 5 Star service which made my stay much more enjoyable. Bob was especially good at sorting out any concerns I had, and went beyond the call of duty to make my stay comfortable. For the above reasons, this will certainly be my hotel of choice whenever I'm back in the neighbourhood.

Although they are undergoing renovations the staff was very helpful, especially Bob. The rooms are very nice and they are upgrading the exterior areas so that may be a plus in the future.

Great location. Manhasset is a cute and quiet town - train station to grand central station (which took 40 minutes) was 7 minutes walk away. SO many nice shops around and we also got the hot tub room so we would recommend it highly.

The tea and coffee making facilities were bad and mouldy. You can get fresh coffee inside the reception area but you don’t want to leave the hot tub sometimes

Honestly, I was hesitant. I thought, it’s only 1 night, how bad can it really be? It’s in Manhasset after all. It was wonderful! Sure they should probably rip up the carpet & swap out the drapes but really it was a great stay! The bed was very comfortable, the shower had great pressure, they gave free coffee. East check in, east check out. The poopy 1 star reviews are biased and quite unfair!

The carpet but really…to complain about carpet seems ridiculous.

There is no food provided except coffee in the lobby and coffee packets for a Mr. Coffee in the room. Microwave and fridge with ample-size freezer. Can fit most dinners and ice cream pints.

No laundry facilities available. Need to be on first floor because no elevator available. Not handicap accessible but able to manage. No towel bars. Hangers mostly wire probably left behind by others. Unable to reach wooden clip-type ones. Could not remove from bar. Very bad TV provider (Direct TV) and poor reception. Can have daily housekeeping which is both a good thing but not good when the knocking happens twice in a day and you are busy or sleeping. Little card blew off the door handle. Motel is on a hill. Steep driveways unable to use. Even walkers would find them steep.

How clean it was loved the beds the shower the fact that housekeeping comes around every day and all the time. Overall I always love my stay that's why I bring everyone there and been going for years since it was call the royal Inn.

Just the TV issue most channels don't show clear at all or don't show at all u wanna be able to relax watch some TV and unwind but can't do that if all u see is static that not relaxing at all but other than all I love everything really

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very accommodating.

It is an economy hotel so clean was my main priority and it was, the bathroom was small but updated and also clean. The sheets were very scratchy which made it difficult to get to sleep but even being on a bust main road, there were no noise issues.

Location relative to NYC. Every food option you can think within minutes of hotel. Central location gives you easy access to the city or Eastern LI. You won't be disappointed. Get the jacuzzi suite.

There really isn't much to not like. Reasonable rates, good location, a restaurant to fit every taste. You can't go wrong.

it was clean and quiet. The neighborhood was very nice with a Macy's department store across the street and gas station/convenience stores on each corner. There's also a nice park a block away. Good access to highways.

The room was a bit small. The television contained just 20 imbecilic regular cable channels, all of which showed more commercials than programs. We ended up watching movies and television shows on our computer instead. I also did not like the fact that they did not offer breakfast because of the covid19, not even a breakfast bag as other motels did.
