The Admiral Motel is a great owner operated motel on the northern end of the main street that runs through Lake George. it backs up to a quiet and safe residential neighborhood. The facility is well maintained inside and out. The room was super clean and well decorated. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable and supportive. The Wi-Fi system was strong for my room's location, which was located at the farthest distance from the office, quite impressive. There is also a pool on the property. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. He is so confident you will be satisfied with your accommodations and not have any surprises, what he gives you his personal mobile, if you might.

Onsite parking is a bit at a premium due to the size of the property, and being in downtown Lake George. Parking is limited to one vehicle per room but the owner was moving his own vehicles around to accommodate a couple more. So be respectful and leave the extra vehicles behind or call the motel first to make sure they can accommodate you.

The owner was super nice from the moment we arrived. Got us checked in a little earlier as we had a engagement to attend and wanted to get all unpacked as we knew we would be getting back late. The rooms are smoke free which is wonderful for those with a cig allergy. The only issue is that you can smoke outside your room and the 2 rooms next to us had 4 smokers and when you need to get to your room you have to walk through the smoke which made it hard to breath the first night. Thank god we moved to a new room the second night with no smokers. Room has a very big refrigerator which was very convenient. We would def come back.

We had a issue with the toilet as it wouldn't fill in the tank. I called the hotel and they came up immediately and moved us to another room. The only other thing is that the shower has a energy efficient shower head that makes the water pressure real low. There are no elevators to get to the second floor so if you have a back issue make sure you request a room on the bottom floor when you book.

Carol & Darryl were great. Pool, though a bit small, was refreshing and relaxing. Owners & young staff took care with me as the Booking representative — which I needed to call — was hard to understand and wasted time in the process. World class ice machine. Superior location across from The Georgian at the edge of the busiest part of Town. Easily I would stay here again.

The location, the owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless and so was the pool . We were able to walk into town without having to take our car . We left a charger behind and they called me to let me know . We will definitely be going back

Would have been nice to have a microwave but there is one available. Ended up we did t need to use the one in the office .

friendly staff, rooms were a nice size and had a nice size refrigerator and a small table and 2 chairs. bed was comforable. Bathroom and bedroom were spotless. Very cute hotel, pool was a good size and very clean. We were stayed 3 nights and were very pleased.

Only thing I would say is the shower. I found it hard to get water termperature.

The room was wonderful and he accommodated an even better room because most guests checked out the day we checked in free of charge. He was sweet and friendly and made us comfortable.

Everything was great but if I had to choose and be super picky I would tell you the cable was super slow but we were out and about having fun so it mattered so little.

Everyone at the Admiral Inn were lovely. The staff helped us check in early so we could get to an event on time and were so accommodating. The ice machine was cold and plentiful and the pool with towel service was lovely. I would absolutely recommend!

Water pressure in our shower was low but thats to be expected with a full house.

Just one look at the Admiral Motel made you feel welcomed & you knew you’d made the right choice in staying here on your vacation. The owners, which were right on site, were so friendly & pleasant. From the beautifully decorated outside, to the clean, tastefully furnished inside we couldn’t of been any more pleased. Thank you, we will definitely be back to visit !! Daryl & Mary

Absolutely nothing. We were pleased with the whole stay.

The location was perfect, less than a two minute walk from stores, restaurants, and the water. The pool was clean and an excellent way to unwind at the end of the day. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds and a little seating area to eat or whatever you want. Will definitely stay here again.

We had a 2nd floor room. There is a skylight in the bedroom. The sun rises at 5am and floods the room. Needs a retractable blind or something.
