The Georgian Lakeside Resort

Amazing location. Right on Lake George. Great bar at the pool where you can get drinks, food, etc. Very family friendly. Seating and bar service available. Small beach on the lake wirh free paddleboats, kayaks, etc to use. Staff to help you on the beachfront. Great service during breakfast. Buffett was ok. Rooms were very clean and modern. Underground parking lot if the above lot is full. Lunch and dinner food options were really good quality not typical hotel food. Servers and bartenders were great. Very friendly.

Outside facade was dated but they are working on it. No elevator but most of the small hotels in the area dont have this. So ask for ground floor room if you need this. No fun lugging all your stuff up and down stairs. Some stair cases still old and narrow so be careful with the kids, elderly etc. They have alternate ways down to the pool area that dont involve the stairs so keep an eye out for that.

to start the location of the resort is great, basically in the middle of all the amenities in the area. also it is located within a 10 minutes drive of the shopping centers like walmart. the rooms are superclean and the maintenance crew is really good and friendly. There was no loud or annoying guests during our staying time, having in mind that the place was full everyday. the pool is clean and the water was great, to have an idea the pool is the lenght fo the restaurant. right next to the pool is a cool bar with happy hour everyday. passing that there is a private beach and next to it the dock with the kayak and paddleboat rentals. One of the things we liked the most is the texting communication with the recpetion desk because they notno ly take care of you fast but also use this to advice you on daily activities. by the way the resort is a smoke free place.

the restaurants and delis along the vacation strip were pricey.

This was my second stay at the property and the last time we were here was a few years ago. The look of the room was modern and it was clean. Liked that I had an issue with the in room fridge and the staff immediately replaced it. Liked the cabana bar and the updates to the back of the property.

If you need anything, the property utilizes a text service. While I get it streamlined things, felt it took away from the customer service. Also the breakfast buffet- which had over cooked eggs and lack luster breakfast items- was way more expensive than it need to be. Also- the room we had was advertised as having a two queen size beds but the beds were clearly full/double size. Not a big deal for what I needed but shouldn’t be advertised as such.

We loved the location. We did not eat breakfast on the resort but we did have a lunch and dinner. The food and staff were very good. Prices were good too, not over the top expensive. We also loved that we could text the front desk for anything we needed including just basic questions about the area and they replied fast. Kid friendly, easy walks to many restaurants, shops and night life. My wife and I planned to go see some live music but enjoyed the (heated pool) and private beach. We also took a boat ride on the mini haha steamboat and recommend. A few options with different boat cruises. We plan to visit again and next time will bring our 10 year old son. He was away for a few days so my wife and I ventured out and glad we chose Lake George ! We were very happy with the Georgian Resort. Great staff,food was not overpriced! The location was fantastic. Highly recommend and looking forward to our next visit. Next time we will explore a little more and stay longer as we only stayed for 3 days.

It was good and really no complaints.

The rooms were so clean and updated. Sophisticated gray tones and black furniture. The beds were extremely comfortable. Great location within walking distance to the main strip. I would consider staying here again because of the cleanliness and the amenities like a heated pool,restaurant and pool side tiki bar!

The wifi was HORRIBLE. Couldn't receive and send important documents. Check in was at 4pm but I was told if the room was ready before then I would receive a text. So it was a rainy day and we went back there at 3:30pm after many hrs in town to ask if we could just hang out in the lobby until the room was ready. The girl at the desk looked up my name and said "oh it's ready, it's been ready. You didn't receive a text?" I said no, only one to stop by and have a drink at the cabana bar... but I was traveling with my 10yr old son. Wasn't the end of the world, she apologized but it would've been really nice to have been able to get settled in the room earlier. Overall seems like a great place!

The room was very comfortable.

My significant other fell when walking to the outside bar area. There needs to be yellow paint indicating there is a step down. He does not have sight in one eye so he has no depth perception. There should also be a railing on the steps in the outside area. It would have been handy to have a stability bar installed in the bath tub area for stepping out of the bath tub. I also think the white bricking around the underground parking garage could be a hazard to children who may walk along the top and could fall into the entrance of the parking garage.

Very clean and nicely updated room. Friendly staff and easy to communicate and quick responses with the texting system. Great location. Comfortable lounge chairs poolside.

The private beach was not appealing (sorry). After seeing a neighboring hotel's beach area, this one was not inviting. Although the pool and pool deck was very nice, access to it was hidden by Giovanna's which we never saw opened. What was the deal with that?

I was very surprised how clean and renovated it was. The only downside was the floors in the rooms looked clean however walking in the rooms your feet was very dirty. Didn't seem like floors were washed im a long time but other then that it was the best vacation I've had. You have a pool, the lake and beach steps away. The village was walking distance. It was perfect if you have kids. We will definitely be coming again!

the safety was only because I didn't like or feel safe with kids on the second floor with the plastic railings. Few of them were bent and I was very worried to have my daughter near the railings. The buffet was also a bit expensive for children. My daughter is 3, price should be free instead of 13.99, she only ate two bites - a little bit of a waste for younger kids. Also there was no shade/ umbrellas by the pool area which was a disappointment when you have children

I recommend this property to anyone looking for the perfect summery weekend. right on the lake, pool, private beach access, small piers to walk on for photos, cabana bar and several fire pits with s’mores kits available in the office. the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. the cabana bar is such a nice treat; perfect view of the lake, fun drinks and they offer happy hour starting at 4. they upgraded our room due to construction taking place where we originally booked, and the room had a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, and balcony overlooking the lake. All rooms have a fridge and microwave as well. Another awesome feature is their text service. i received a text the day of check in confirming our dates of stay and check in time. They invite you to text the number at any point of your stay if you need something or have any questions.

I loved the location in regards to shopping and activities as well as our room location. Also the options for food on the premise were great. Housekeeping was good as well.

Well didn't really have hot water till 3rd evening and water pressure was inconsistent as it went from a dribble to full at times. Washcloths were not given daily. Could have used a larger dresser as we had 3 adults and a child and only 3 drawer dresser. However this will not stop us from booking with this resort again, as it was last minute booking.
