The George NY

The hotel was really cute. Exactly like the pictures. All of the staff we encountered were super friendly and talkative. The room was clean and comfortable, especially the bed. We brought our pup with us and he loved it too! Everywhere we wanted to go (restaurants, the lake, boat rides) were all super close in distance. Tons of options close by and the area is SO dog friendly! Excellent hotel. We would definitely go back and stay again!

The only negative comment I have is that they were working on updating the structure in front of the building, the area your car passes through. The construction was loud and had a constant beeping from the machines. Would have been nice to know ahead of time since it was literally right outside of our 3rd floor window. But other than that, it was good.

I liked the rooms and the game room and workout room we used everything they had.

the reason we went there was because of the water slide and pool and hot tub. we planned on staying in the water the whole trip. my kids love swimming and usually never leave the water. the chlorine was at a toxic level. breathing the air felt poisonous immediately. our noses and lungs and eyes were burning instantly. the fumes didn’t clear out of our systems til the next morning and my kids didn’t want to go back to the pool because one said their lungs hurt another said their nose and throat hurt and the other one said he just finally stopped coughing and his eyes stopped burning and didn’t want to feel that way again it also made him very nauseous. all signs of chlorine poisoning. they were only in the pool for 30 minutes.

Breakfast was good. The two young ladies working the kitchen were always on top of things, hard workers. The desk staff Jenny and Maddie were very pleasant, always with a smile and willing to point you to places you might want to see(Thanks Maddie:) ) We had a leak from the toilet and upon informing the desk it was taken care of. The maintenance man was also very professional. Super close to the outlets and only 4 miles away from Lake George.

The room had no clothing drawers to put your clothes away, we lived out of our suitcases. Could of fit another King Size bed in there with plenty of room to spare.

this hotel is near the factories. it is very convenient, with a Starbucks and a great restaurant (the log jam is delicious!) walking distance. the price/quality was great and it was newly relocated. the rooms are big and confortable. there was a microwave in the bedroom and parking was convenient. I didn’t try the gym, but it was decently equipped and the kids seemed to enjoy the pool a lot. for those who want to be near the lake and downtown restaurants/activity, please note that this is a 5-8 minutes drive.

I did enjoy the breakfast, but please note that it is mostly waffles, bagels, breads and sugary cereals. Not a lot of light or healthy options. if you need daily room clean up, please note you have to warn reception in advance.

The hotel is brand new, and it was impressive when I first arrived. Very clean and the staff was very friendly. My daughter LOVED the pool and my wife loved the gym area. Overall, the breakfast was good. Great value for the price.

Two things: The main staircase: The carpet is not completely tacked down on the risers which is a tripping hazard. I saw someone else had posted this in a review from July 2022 so by late August 2022 - it hadn't been fixed. Kind of odd that something like that would go unresolved. I alerted a staff member who said they would have maintenance fix. Let's hope they do. My wife likes having fresh towels. She requested additional towels on two different days. Front desk said they would take care of it but they never arrived. One of the days my wife ran into housekeeping who gladly supplied us the towels and the other day, I had to personally goto the front desk and get them. Not the end of the world - but it's the simple things that matter.

I like my 1st and 2nd night, because it’s very quiet, but our last day wasn’t that great, because next door people slammed the door every time they get out and get in. And also they have a dog and dog barks whole night. Overall Hotel is nice and quiet. Thank you

Well, few things we didn’t like. First of all our room is dusty, seems you guys didn’t clean since pandemic year, because dusts are everywhere, even on the TV as well. Not to mention on coffee maker. Our rooms carpet has lots of dust, we took off our shoe and socks, we felt lots of dust and crumbs stuck on our feet. And when we use bathroom, the toilet bowl is red inside and hairs on floor. I guess manager or supervisor didn’t do their job, because it’s not clean. In my opinion manager or supervisor should check each and every room whether it’s clean or not.

I loved all of the different amenities like the pool with the slide and Jacuzzi and the playground. The quarters were very nice as well and very spacious. I love that it was also pet friendly, which is a big must these days.

For the price of this day, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, and the pillows were awful. I’ve been at many other hotels, but this by far had the worst sleep amenities.

The hotel was located near everything we wanted to do. The lobby was clean and I was impressed with the staircase and light fixtures. Registration was a breeze and the room suited our needs perfectly. The workers were all friendly and helpful especially Brian who seemed to do everything! It was definitely a good deal for the money.

Was underwhelmed with breakfast but enjoyed the coffee. Found it odd that there were no tissues in the room (not a big deal) Also there were no drawers to put clothes which was strange.

The hotel is clean and has a nice atmosphere.

I went there for a little quiet time. However, they put me on a floor with a bunch of kids there for a soccer tournament. They kept running up and down the hallway and slamming the doors. Parents were very inconsiderate. I complained about it. I didn't rest at all and they never offered any compensation for a future stay. Just I'm sorry. Three days of rest did not happen.

Beaux my dog and I had a fantastic time staying at the George NY. Clean, comfortable, and the staff were all super friendly and accommodating. 10/10 would recommend to anyone traveling with a furry companion 🐶

Breakfast could have included “healthier” Options like egg whites, fresh fruit, but had a continental breakfast that was free of charge.
