Stayed a month long in July 2023. All essentials at great discount: ~half price compared to what was in the area. TV, fridge, AC and plenty of water pressure and GPM in shower. Unbeatable in a record high heat month.

Not all rooms are equal. In general 2nd floor is better. Stayed without room service for many days despite having “maid service needed” displayed but when I requested at front desk it happened next morning. No trash can in front of hotel and the one in lobby is very small. I had to carry my trash to my room.

Have been here for quite some time now and I can attest that all the staff has been always courteous to everyone and very helpful. Have also been in many rooms. Some are surely better than others but overall it is a great value. Definitely better than the other hotels in the ~10-20 miles area.

Sometimes, rooms may not be super clean, but one can always request changing room or ask for room service the next morning.

Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, plenty of area for luggage, one of the two rooms had great air conditioning, linens were clean, staff was helpful and allowed us to stay in two rooms next to each other

Building is a bit old, one of the two rooms did not have great air conditioning, smell of the building is detectably old, found one cricket-like bug that crawled up on the bed

The location is so good. 45 minutes from NYC ( on a Sunday with no traffic) The hotel has very good restaurants walking distance. My fiancé and I went to the Mexican restaurant across the street and the food and margaritas were delicious. The restaurant has an outdoor area with a water fountain. Beautiful place! We also went to the Italian restaurant next to the hotel for some drinks and Joe, the bartender gave us an excellent treatment. He did some amazing cocktails while he was telling us stories about the building. This Italian restaurant is in a very old building. The vintage vibe of the restaurant makes you feel like you are in a black and white movie. It was a magical experience! The hotel has a pool as well and the staff was friendly. It’s a relaxing place great for a little romantic getaway. It is true that the furniture is a little old, but I prefer that, rather than staying in the city, in a place with no parking, no pool and noisy. I highly recommended. We want to go back for sure.

They just had decaf coffee in our room. They should have regular coffee as well.

The restaurant is closed but the hotel is surrounded by great places to eat. I have enjoyed my stay here very much; I like it very much. The staff is wonderful and its very peaceful in the hotel.

I cannot say anything bad about the hotel because this has become my favorite place to stay in the area. I plan to book it again.

Our schedule did not permit us to stay for breakfast. But the place is clean, friendly, reasonable, etc. and we would stay again. It was very quiet. The room had a lot of amenities such as a microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine and large TV. Our queen bed was very comfortable.

There was a Keurig coffee machine but it only had decaf pods. We probably could have looked or requested regular coffee pods but our time did not permit us. The machine did work well however.

The rooms were clean, refrigerator worked, it was a nice stay considering we were there in the middle of a snowstorm!!!The young lady at the desk was very nice. The Palisades Mall is but a few minutes away. You can go shopping, watch a movie or two, eat , bowl, do what makes you happy there. Overall our stay was nice.

Maintenance knocked on our door several times in the morning because they didn’t know we were there. Maybe they just needed an updated list of guests. Not a big deal, it was resolved by hanging the do not disturb on the door..

Hotel was more than adequate for the budget price we paid. Linens were clean and room was large and comfortable. The staff is friendly.

Once the weekend came, the noise increased in the hallway and the gross skunk smell of cheap pot invaded our nonsmoking room. The other guests are inconsiderate.

The room was clean, and the AC was working (a little noisy though). Plenty of space. The staff was super helpful.

I think the ironing board in my room was busted. When I extended the legs, it wouldn't stay up. I wasn't sure if I was using the locking lever correctly, or if it really was busted. You should take a look (I was in Room 132). Whatever little ironing I did, I had to do it in the bathroom. I didn't see any spare outlet in the room itself. Was that the intention?

The pricing and helpfulness of staff.

The bathroom we were in the shower drain should be fixed and should have rust all around it. There should be a disclaimer that the restaurant and lounge is under construction. Was not informed until I got there about it.
