Comfort Inn JFK Airport

This is NOT a beautiful location, it is across from a NYC road salt storage facility, and it is NOT a great place to access most of NYC, but it is a great place for a quick stopover night that is VERY close to JFK airport. The room was clean and comfortable

You cannot change the location, so the ten minute or less access to JFK is great but if you want to see or visit the ore of NYC, you should go elsewhere.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Room is clean but small in size. This is expected in NY. Taker away breakfast bag is convenient.

Shuttle service runs every hour from 5 AM to 11 PM. Have to pull your luggage and take air train to the Federal Circle stop for the shuttle service to pick up. Recommend to call hotel when you arrive the Federal Circle stop. The staff usually could arrange a pickup quickly.

Shuttle service runs only 5am to 11pm hourly. if leaving early should Uber for $14. Around 4:05 when leaving the hotel to the airport we realized that one jacket was left in the room with keys inside. We waited for the receptionist for at least 20 min and nobody came (may check hotel cameras). The only one person there was the security guy who was una le to do anything and told us that receptionist was in “the bathroom”. Unfortunately we had to leave to the airport and the jacket behind. Hopefully they mail it to us.

Close to airport with a free shuttle every hour (actually they have my family our own ride directly to the terminal at half past the hour to accommodate) Rooms were super clean, toiletries available, nice size room , modern decor, gorgeous lobby

Free breakfast was grab and go. It was suffice, I’m good with the hot coffee available . But, considering we are way post covid, they could open up the breakfast stations from 6-9. Ground level rooms close to lobby and you can hear every single noise. Shuttle honked right outside our room more than once. We can hear people checking in throughout the night.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable and very close to JFK Airport. Breakfast was a grab & go bag, which worked well. There are also other items (snacks, drinks) available for purchase in the lobby. The rooms were clean and quiet. They offer a free shuttle to the airport as well. We had an international flight and the manager allowed us to stay a few hours past normal checkout for a small additional charge.

We weren't sure where to find the free shuttle so we took a taxi to the hotel, but used it to return to the airport the next day.

The closeness to the airport- I had a stopover of 13 hours and after taking the free air train to Federal Station you get a free shuttle service to the hotel every hour to the 30!! From there the hotel is 5 minutes away! The Staff- Very helpful, there is no kitchen in the restaurant for dinner but you can order food like pizza and the staff ordered one for me, they also gave me a bag with some fruit, muffin and packed juice at 445am even though the breakfast service starts at 6am Value for Money- with the prices, couldn't have asked for more, Best Value for Money!!

The Vicinity- there is nothing much nearby but again that is not the hotels fault

Staff were very friendly and helpful - gave us menus to local restaurants for delivery if we wished to use. Great transfer to JFK. we had a flight out of JFK at 8.20am and the transfer bus left hotel at 6am and drops off at all terminals - very efficient. Gave us a brown bag full of breakfast bits before leaving the hotel which was a nice touch. Room was small but very modern and nice bathroom. Would recommend this hotel if have a short layover for JFK.

very far away from Manhattan to any of the tourist sites. We had a 16 hour layover, and there is nothing to do in the neighbourhood the hotel is in, so decided to travel into Manhattan and it took well over an hour, we had to take a bus and subway. We were waiting for about 40 minutes for the transfer to pick us up from JFK which after an 8 hour flight wasn’t ideal. There is a phone at the subway station which the shuttle buses pick up from for all hotels, I was trying to phone the hotel for 20 minutes and no one answered to arrange to pick us up. Had to use my data and own mobile (with no American allowances on my plan) to phone hotel to pick us up.

Very clean and comfortable hotel near JFK with an airport shuttle. We liked the bagged breakfast and our room was very comfortable.

We had an issue where the airport shuttle driver at first refused to take us to our terminal due to traffic which was upsetting because we chose a shuttle time expecting to be taken directly to the right terminal without having to take the Airtrain, etc. We were lucky though because there was no traffic when we arrived at the airport and the driver ultimately dropped us off at our terminal as we expected. I think the hotel should advise guests if the shuttle driver might refuse to go to certain terminals so the guests can plan to leave earlier and avoid unnecessary stress.

The room, the location and the staff were wonderful. The hotel is near the airport and the comfort was more than we expected. The hotel shuttle was in place at the airport and after receiving directions we walked quite a way through a pleasant and typical American residential area towards the shopping street Rockaway Boulevard, where there are about 10-20 restaurants of all types. It was an adventure visiting this lively street.

I didn't like the breakfast, both the amount of sugar in everything, the plastic thrown away and so on. Typical American, you don't seem to learn anything. TERRIBLE!!!!! You need to have something healthy for breakfast. You have a classy hotel, so provide something classy to eat! Why can´t you Americans change your habits?? And please, stop using plastic at the breakfast table, it's so unethical. Where is the respect for the environment and public health?

The room and the bathroom, despite being on the smaller side, were lovely, beautifully decorated and outfitted, and very comfortable. The price was extremely reasonable and the location is a quick five minute shuttle ride from JFK.. The hotel is kept pristinely clean, which I greatly value. A free tea and coffee bar was a blessing after a day of travel. The bagged breakfast-to-go works out well when taking the shuttleback to the airport.. This was my second stay at this facility and I continue to feel it is the best use of my travel dollars. No doubt I will use it again in the near future. .

My room faced a city trash truck parking facility and city sand lot. The backup beepers on the trucks and sand movers started up very early in the morning, along with the engine noises. Adding in the regular road traffic, it was difficult to sleep, but then traffic noise is a common state of affairs at any location in New York City. The room's lighting was fine for reading, with built-in reading spotlights in the beds headboard, but it could definitely benefit from additional lighting to make the space helpfully brighter. The bathroom lighting is fine.
