Lex View Inn at JFK Airport

Affordable stay and very good location, few steps away from nearest subway train station (Jamaica-Van Wycke) with connection to the JFK AirTrain. This was the primary reason for our stay. Rooms are being cleaned and towels replaced every day.

The facility has a lot of potential due to its very good location. Could be better - only 1 bed side lamp was provided, no table lamp, carpet looked dated, rest room has some watermarks (possibly from previous occupant). This is more of a backpackers hotel.

If we had any issues, the gentleman at the front desk always helped us solve it. Our key stopped working a couple times and he was always willing to help fix it. When we first arrived our room didn’t have AC so he quickly moved us to another room to accommodate us. Very kind.

The room was a little dirty and the towels looked a little dingy but it wasn’t that big a problem. The AC made a loud noise every so often and it would wake me up at night but it wasn’t too bad. I felt comfortable during my stay for the most part.

The lady that checked me out and the cleaning staff was superb

The guy that checked me in and was there all weekend was rude as hell. He charged me extra before I knew he was doing it. He would hang up on me if I called him. He would be very very short with me like I was bothering him when I asked him something in person. Other than the man being less than courteous, it's not a bad place. It's obvious that his family must own the business otherwise he would be fired a long time ago in my opinion

Ac was working on point Shower was very nice hot water was running real good for me. The front desk guys was very nice service was on point. We stayed at this hotel 3 times already I really liked it. Everytime we visit Queens NY we stay at Lexington view Inn Need more lights in the rooms. Thank you

*The sink was flooded when I was brushing 🪥 my teeth I say something to the front desk but they didn't do anything about it *The shower curtain rod is broken so the shower curtain wouldn't stay together to take a shower 🚿. *The window curtains broken we had to manually close it ourselves. *The room doesn't have enough lights only 2 the was dark but we used our phone light Room 5:15 Room 2:14.

Room service was great the ladies was friendly when they came to clean room. No compliant Everything was good our stay was great 👍

The light on the night stand wasn't working. I told the guy at the front desk apparently he didn't make a note of it. The vending machine on the second floor wasn't working I told the guy at the front desk he try to help me out Saturday we went to fourth floor to buy water from the vending machine.. No wi-fi in the hotel.

Nothing everything was perfect! It was clean and comfortable the area is pretty big. The staffs were very nice too and the location felt safe and everything. Everything there was perfect and it was beyond my expecations

I was alil skeptical on this hotel because of it’s location, but as soon as I got there the man at the desk was exceptional and very polite. The rooms are very clean even the bathroom. The sheets had no stains or nothing. The room was amazing and got a greats nights rest. I will be booking this hotel again in the future.

Comfort

The desk clerk tried to get me to pay cash, that I didn't have only a credit/debit card. A sign in the window said $99 walk-in and he told me it didn't exist and the room would be $140. I went to my car and booked the room on line for $99.
