Value for money was excellent. Room was clean and neat, breakfast was fantastic, and the swimming pool was lovely. For the price we paid, we were extremely impressed with the facilities. Of course, some things are a little old, but they are clean and in working order. This was our return trip from a week away in New York City. We returned from NYC to Albany via Amtrak, then grabbed our car and drove to Saratoga Springs (only about 30 mins away).

I wish I had know about this accommodation at the beginning of our vacation. I would have chosen it over the terrible Hilton in Albany that we stayed at. I would rather drive 30 mins and stay at a family friendly place like this one, instead of the horrid, run down Hilton that was dirty.

Location was good, staff was super friendly and helpful, room was clean. Overall a good stay.

The only thing that wasn’t great was our shower. The fixture (shower head and handle) would both move when turning the handle. It was like it wasn’t sealed and secured in the wall. And the pull to make the shower head turn on worked but it would still run from the faucet at the same time. So that was a little weird but other that it was fine. Shower still worked just had to be very gentle with it so it didn’t break more.

The room was very clean and quite comfortable. Everything worked! The heating/cooling system was efficient and quite quiet, which was nice. Bed was great: very comfy.

I was quite disappointed with the breakfast. When I booked, breakfast was indicated as $10 for each guest. When I checked in, I asked the hours of breakfast -- which were fine. I was NOT informed that I would need to reserve a place at breakfast to qualify for the $10 meal. No excuse for that, as no such stipulation had appeared in the room confirmation. Moreover, the breakfast itself was limited and disappointing: Various pancake/egg/meat combinations, with only a slice of orange as the available fruit. Healthier choices would normally be available elsewhere in "breakfast included" hotels. And the charge was $15/person, since I "had not reserved in advance". This left me being surprised that I had not been charged for wi-fi -- a la twenty years ago!

The hotel is within walking distance to Downtown Saratoga, the racetrack and it borders Congress Park. There is also a free shuttle that will take you to the track and around town. The pools were nice also indoor and outdoor.

It’s an older hotel, but well kept. Saturday night rates in town are expensive during racing season. Probably a lot for the room, but there were a lot of positives.

The property is located in a very convenient area . Close to many stores and restaurants which are all In walking distance. The staff is super friendly. Their hotel bar ,restaurant, pools ,rooms are clean ! I will absolutely return next time I’m in Saratoga . Especially that it’s a few minutes by car to the track as well !

Didn’t realize that housekeeping would only make the bed, not refill coffee pods or cups, by the time we realized it was very late, no one came at all the next day. Just odd as we had to squeeze past the carts as we were going out. We would have asked but did not see anyone just the carts.

The staff was incredibly helpful. The surge protector for the tv and mini fridge had been turned off and the front desk sent help right away as the tv stand was to large for us to move ourselves. Our room was immaculately clean and the hotel breakfast was satisfying before long days of hiking. The service we had for breakfast was so warm and friendly as well. We were assisted with getting a shuttle ride back to the train station after our stay which was a great relief as finding an Uber in the area can be a challenge.

I have zero complaints.

Immaculately clean. Lovely landscaping, plenty of parking, sparkling pools, delicious breakfast buffet. Kevin Touhy is a gifted manager. His employees speak glowingly about him and offer smiles readily. He is generous and kind.

If you’re going to Saratoga this is THE spot to stay!!! So close to downtown area, and the shuttle was so convenient. One of my favorite parts of the stay was the staff, every person we interacted with was so helpful, fun and kind! Bree and I think his name was Connor? at the front desk were rockstars and were so helpful and accommodating to our large group.
