Room was large, clean, and well equipped. Convenient proximity to the theater…comfortable. Had toiletries, coffee maker, microwave and fridge, hair dryer..

The staff was rude. I went to concessions area, and grabbed 2 ice cream sandwiches, the staff, said I’ll take you here, so we walked over-ice cream sandwiches in hand. She completely ignored us…started taking payment from other patrons-after about 10-15 minutes, i said, “can we just charge These to our room?” She said “oh, sure”- not sure if she was impaired or just not with it. It was really pretty ridiculous. Staff who checked us in also weren’t very friendly. I suspect a bit of reverse racism..

Unfortunately because of the snow storm all our events were canceled. The city of Schenectady was under a snow emergency and therefore everything shut down. The Temperature at home was still above freezing and so we decided to drive home rather than being confined to the hotel room. The staff was very understanding

Possibly have a second comfortable chair, as we had one comfortable chair and a desk chair. It wouldn’t have worked if we were locked in our room for two days

I loved the location, the big breakfast room with teas and coffee, employees were nice, and the rooms looked great! The coffee cups had an illustrated mustache or lip on them and I thought they were super cute!!!! Gave them personality lol It’s in a downtown area so you can walk to a lot of nice little shops and there are some parks nearby too, but a larger park by a river is on the other side of a bridge, but it’s not a far drive! Breakfast was delicious each day! The choices varied each day and the breakfast room was spotless and the staff were very nice.

It was odd that you have to request room attention and the indoor pool was out of service.

The location is excellent if you are interested in walking to a restaurant, book store, Italian bakery and the theatre for a show!

I would have liked a one-night stay to be a little cheaper. Just a clean room, quick shower would be better for me around $100 instead of double that.

We weere not told that the heating system was switched over to summer season on before April 25 when we stayed. The problem was that we could not get warm and the heating unit was blowing cold air. Good thing we slept in our casual wear to bed and stayed warm. Yet we were cold through out the night.

Very close to the theater and restaurant we always go to when we visit Schnectady.....The room was beautiful the staff was great and we even ran into a few of the actors in the play we were going to see!!!Will definitely go again!!!

Breakfast was great- I’ve never had such a buffet at a hotel before. There were multiple flavors of waffle batter to make fresh, multiple flavors of syrup! Gluten free bread was even very good. The lady servicing the buffet deserves special recognition for the cleanliness and care she provided.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The A/C was set to 65 degrees when we entered the room. This is absurdly cold and very wasteful of energy! We were unable to adjust the thermostat. This was quite disappointing.
