Four Points by Sheraton Asheville Downtown

Rooms were spacious, clean, and modern with all the essentials and nifty soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers in the shower. A good size closet was available for storage along with a large dresser and two bedside tables. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good. It's easy to get your money's worth out of it. The staff were all polite and accomodating.

The room had a fridge and coffee table but noticeably lacked a microwaves. It's an older hotel but they're currently in the middle of updating it. It's a good value for the area. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of a laundry room, which the Holiday Express hotels all have in the area. But I think the cost difference made it easy for me to look past it. A few small things like the lack of in-house laundry for long stays and no microwaves we're very minor issues, overall I enjoyed my stay and was very comfy while resting here! Definitely a good option if you want to save a few hundred bucks on a 10 day visit compared to other 3-star listings.

The staff is amazing and very helpful. They always checked in with us as we came and went. They remembered conversations with you as if you talked everyday. So warm and inviting like family. We felt so safe there. They never seemed bothered by anything or any question. They were so calm when we arrived and fire dept had to come check an alarm that had triggered. We waited outside and they still tended to everyone. It was a false alarm. We were checked in quickly and on our way to tour Asheville. I have never been treated so well and will stay there again.

when I booked from booking.com, the property was listed as having breakfast included on the booking.com site, however when I checked in I was advised breakfast was not included when booking through a third party. when I went to the front desk to complain about this, it took quite a while and stating the fact of false advertisement before the clerk begrudgingly gave me meal tickets for ONE of the two days we stayed there. Twas worth the hard effort on my part as the breakfast was very good, however I shouldn’t of had to fight for this and we should have been given meal tickets for both days we stayed.

The property was very clean. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful. I had put in a request for no feather pillows because I am allergic. Not only was my request honored by the time I checked in but I found a lovely note on the dresser letting me know that there were no feather pillows on the bed! I always ask at hotels and I have never received a note like that! it made me feel really good to know they not only cared enough to honor my request but actually informed me that they did instead of me having to feel the pillows and guess like I do at most other hotels. The bed itself was very comfortable and the hotel was quiet. All this for a very reasonable price within walking distance of downtown. I will definitely stay there again the next time I come through Asheville!

The room was nice with a comfortable bed. The location is excellent, just steps from downtown. The restaurant/bar was nice as well. Friendly staff.

For the price, I remembered the hotel being a little nicer...It seemed dated this time. The price mostly reflects the location I guess. The pool was nice but needed to be skimmed...all kinds of stuff floating in it.

Location is great, ample free parking. Room appeared to have been recently refurbished. Front desk folks were very friendly and helpful.

The restaurant (which I didn’t eat at, only grabbed wine to take to the room) is a little shabby. Bartender was not the least bit friendly. Room was very clean…but the textured wallpaper in the bathroom grabs hair, and housekeeping has not wiped the long dark hairs off of it. There weren’t many…but they were pretty obvious as they were very long and very dark.

Breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety. Wait staff was very friendly and very accommodating. Bathroom was a little small but adequate. We hope to utilize the exercise room next time. Desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. We were so impressed that the maid staff was very, very accommodating and friendly!! The location was excellent for us because we prefer to park our vehicle and walk wherever we go.

Needed more electrical outlets in the room and bathroom. Bathroom sink did not drain properly.

The front desk staff (especially Lindsay) were exceptional. Very helpful. The housekeeping staff were also exceptional.

The folks in the restaurant, were not very friendly, particularly the two older gentleman. I felt like I was putting them out. They were very short and curt. The one night i bought food from the restaurant, the chef's food was very good. T

The free water at the front was very nice. The check in / check out was easy and quick. The hotel was generally quiet. Room was very clean

The staff couldn't seem to figure out the breakfast voucher things and seemed to be rude at times about it. The hotel didn't have any bike parking. My friends and I were exploring Asheville by bike so it would have been nice but not a dealbreaker.

The TV said it had Netflix, but it would not connect to the Internet And my room was very clean, but it smell like a little old lady!
