The Inn on Bath Creek0

The owners were very gracious and welcoming. Breakfast was perfect, every day was a little different. Baked goods, fruit, great main dish. Home was beautiful, great location in Bath. Each room had its own special name. Peek a boo views to water depending on your room location. Blackbeards Taverns restaurant is within walking distance.

The mattress was a little worn, would recommend replacing or a really nice memory foam topper. (We had the Hatteras room) The bedspread needs replacing, a little age to it. There are no tv's in any room except den off the main room for guests to use. Not a problem for most people but we like to relax at night with tv before going to bed. (Just FYI info.) It would be nice if they offered in the coffee room, more than coffee, tea, water. (Even if a small surcharge for soft drinks, for convenience sake.) Not directly on the river as indicated in some of the pictures on website, but not a problem.

If you visit Bath and do not stay at this Bed and Breakfast, you are doing yourself a great disservice. All future stays will be compared to this for me and I don't know if they will be able to equate. The couple that runs the Inn are as special and enjoyable as the cozy Inn itself. Maree will make you a breakfast you'll never forget. We stayed an extra night just because we loved it here so much.

The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't stay for the rest of my life.

This is a beautiful modern home built to blend into the surrounding historic house style. Our bedroom was roomy, very comfortable bed and ultra clean. There wasn’t a speck of dust or dirt in any corner. It is a quiet neighborhood and the hosts are exceptional!! Breakfast exceeded my expectations! Marie is a marvelous cook- starters of sliced grapes in cream, then homemade breads and jams, and then crepes, sausage and strawberries beautifully plated and served. We can’t wait to go back!

There is nothing to not like here!

Breakfast was sensational and loved the Irish soda bread and tomato chutney with eggs. The owners are friendly and have a solid knowledge of the area. The bed in the room was very comfortable and we enjoyed the rocking chairs on the front porch. This B&B is an excellent value and really helped us decompress from the intensity of city life.

We loved the breakfast. The inn was very relaxing. The location was good. It was easy to find and the owners made you feel at home. We would highly recommend it to our friends and family. We got to visit the state park that was near there too. We did a lot of walking, but it was all good. I did also liked setting in the front porch and just chilling.

We liked everything about the inn. We have no complaints. You guys did awesome!!! Keep up the great job you are doing. The breakfast was very good and we liked getting to talk with the other guest.

We loved the ambience of the Inn, comfortable, spacious, gracious living, books scattered around. We had a little sitting room which was an unexpected extra with information about Bath and North Carolina which I enjoyed reading. Great breakfast. Great hosts. Beautiful little town.

This was absolutely the most wonderful experience in the world!! Dale and Maree were so delightful and very hospitable!! This was the first time my son stayed at a bed and breakfast and it really was overwhelmingly amazing!! I can't say enough great things about The Inn at Bath Creek!!

There is NOTHING that I can say derogatory about this Inn. It was exceptional in every way!!

Breakfast was amazing. The host was born in Ireland and shared some of her favorite Irish breakfast foods. The couple was very friendly except Covid made socializing strained.

We were greeted by the host who expectedly was a little hesitant about us because of Covid. She explained their Covid precautions, showed us to out room, answered questions about places to eat dinner, brought a carafe of water to the room where there were 2 wine glasses and a wine opener but no wine. After a walk around the neighborhood we decided find a dinner spot. After we arrived back we came downstairs to watch the news and read before bed. The hosts were never seen after our initial greetings. I understand them wanting to not be intrusive but it was a little strange to hear them in the 'private' area of the house but never see them. In the morning both host were more social at breakfast. It would have been nice to have seen them a little more the night before.

Beautiful home, gracious hosts, and an absolutely delightful stay. Breakfast was wonderful- homemade jam, bread, local sausages were just a few highlights- all served by our wonderful hostess. Fresh coffee was never empty. Availability of sodas and water at all times was appreciated. The entire inn was spotless. The provided soap and shampoo were excellent quality- a rarity in "conditioning shampoo" but it left my hair feeling clean and soft. The only disappointment was that we didn't get to pet their rescue pup Remington... he was busy napping. We will absolutely stay again.

You are adjacent to a beautiful dock with wonderful views of the river. The owner was extremely cordial, and the breakfast was delicious. Home made cakes and jams all served in a large delightful sun room. Highly recommend!
