The hotel was very nice and the location was great.

The outside pool was shut down. The breakfast in the morning was a bit aggravating. We had 5 stay in the hotel. 2 adults and 3 children. They wouldn't let us gage but 2 breakfasts with our room. If I stayed here again, I would not get the room with breakfast included. It is a bistro that is overpriced and my family could not all eat with our expensive room.

The location is truly perfect for a visit to New Bern. The staff was friendly and there were no issues during the stay. It is definitely somewhere I would stay again on our next trip to New Bern as we visit regularly.

When I first arrived there was a sign at the desk advising that the desk person was assisting someone. They were gone for a while but got things done quickly upon return. Not a major issue, but did not notice the sign initially so it almost looked abandoned.

I always love staying here because of the location and friendly staff. The room location had wonderful views as well!

The room had a few things left unmaintained. the shower had a “ledge” that was falling off the wall. the carpet was dirty in places. We even moved the ottoman near the couch and found a large dirt/dried mud pile.

Staff went above and beyond on a BIG holiday weekend. They were never short-tempered, even though they appeared to be understaffed. The front desk staffers were particularly helpful and friendly. The facility was clean, and the atmosphere was cheerful. Our time with friends and family was enhanced by the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel and especially the helpfulness and upbeat demeanor of the staff.

The effect of being understaffed was apparent, but the overall impact was negligible. The most apparent was the absence of in-room service, particularly towels and trash. This was due in part to the fact that our room was the home base for a gathering of 8 people so we generated more trash than we normally would.

I liked it a lot. I will stay again. Thanks for your service.

There needs to be a night light in hallway bto bathrooms. Light in bath is extremely bright to leave door open. Just a suggestion. And more than one umbrella at the pool.

The property was clean. The staff was really nice.

The only thing I found an issue with was the water pressure in the sink. It was pretty much nonexistent. The outlets were also very loose. Needing a nopal to sleep this made me a little nervous. We thought phones were charging but because the outlets were loose they were plugged in but not getting any electricity to charge the phones. Everything else was really good.

I can’t say enough great things about this property. The staff here is amazing. They really go out of their way to take care of you and make you feel at home. Despite not having housekeeping due to covid, we were still able to find help to empty a waste basket or replace towels. Our room had a beautiful view of the pool and river. The room itself was great comfortable beds and plenty of room for our family of five. We would absolutely stay here again!

The view was wonderful. The location was perfect for walking to get dinner.

The bathroom needs a fan.

The location was perfect; we could walk to everything and our balcony overlooked the river. It’s an interesting location with many good restaurants close by. The king bedroom was spacious and included a refrigerator (no microwave though).

Beds were soft, which was hard on my back. No cleaning service at the moment, during multi-night stays, unless you ask.
