The room was clean,pretty and comfy. The bath tub was wonderful. They provide bath salt/bomb it was relaxing. The location was perfect. We were able to park at the Hanna and walk to restaurants and two houses down for cocktails. The breakfast was delicious. The hosts are extremely nice. New Bern is like a mini Charleston. Great get away. Wonderful restaurants, historic homes,tours and shops. Beautiful streets to walk. The water is a block away. The hosts at The Hanna are warm and kind.

Hanna House is simply delightful! The proprietor is gracious,helpful, and happy. The rooms are comfortably furnished, the house itself is a marvel. Who wouldn’t like to have a slice of freshly made cake and a glass of sherry in the evening? The breakfasts are worth the stay,in itself. A large selection of made to order goodness, accompanied by fresh fruit, custom blend, freshly ground coffee and depending on your choice of breakfast selection, you might get a fresh hot biscuit! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

We liked everything. Sometimes you have to work with the parking a bit, but the owner gets each car parked conveniently. The B and B is right downtown,so you can walk to the downtown hub and most restaurants.

Nice community ,quiet lifestyle plenty to visit ,you can walk downtown easily ,good restaurants, nice people and the property we stayed at was very well maintained (clean).Camille and staff were top notch. Great water pressure on shower as well which is hard to find. Camille’s breakfast were awesome as well. Preparation and quality were exceptional . Looking forward to going back !

Everything about property was good and our host (Camille) very nice,engaged,and organized . The only thing in where I see improvement was the mattress on our bed. The mattress sunk in the middle. Too soft . I prefer firmer supportive mattress.

I am a foodie…should have been a food critic and I will say breakfast was phenomonal…the best Hollandaise I have ever had. My stay was in the Lincoln Room my guest was in the German Mill Room. The Lincoln bed was sooooo comfortable, at first I was not sure about the color of the room but it actually added to the comfort..I Loved It! The window/balcony of the German Mill was delightful…size of room plus reading alcove was great!

Everything was wonderful..I have no negatives! Something I really appreciated was the reading materials and Histories of the house and of the town that Ms Camille presented in each room. She was so very gracious and welcoming and a wealth of information.

Hanna House proved to be an ideal place for us to stopover on the trip down the east coast. The B&B was easy to find, parking was possible on the drive and it was a very short walk into town for an evening meal. The room was very comfortable and the choice of homemade breakfast options was amazing. Our picks were very tasty. We were able to leave our car at the B&B for a few hours so we could explore New Bern, before heading on our way.

exquisitely decorated home filled with curated collections of antiques and art. the owners care for you personally. breakfast is gourmet-homemade bread and jams and really high level creations to enjoy. I could lie and say I wish there were more low calorie options, but I would have ignored them completely!

Hanna House I one and a half blocks from Middle street and easy in-off from the highway. though so centrally located, it was very quiet.

Hanna House was the perfect getaway place for us. Camille greeted us warmly upon arrival and sent us home with smiles and full bellies after a wonderful homemade breakfast. The location was great, easy walking to restaurants, shops and Tryon Palace. The inn was clean, the king size bed was comfy and the front porch was great for relaxing. Definitely a thumbs up recommendation!

The history, and the fantastic decor of the old house was amazing. The room, the bathroom, and all areas of the house were clean. The little extra touches, the refrigerator and water available, the snack cakes in the parlor— so much attention to details—made the stay special. The hosts were fantastic! They provided a great introduction to the beautiful city with recommendations for sights and restaurants. AND I can’t say enough good things about the delicious breakfast! So many choices! Wow! What a great cook! Don’t hesitate to stay at this great place!

Very comfortable, with room for family to sit comfortably and chat. Excellent location and nice room.

My family enjoyed their breakfast very much, but I found mine to be just ok. The hosts were nice but seemed busy and tired. We did not get much information at check in other than the basics - keys, breakfast order process, and offer of a map. This was ok for us because we know the area.

The breakfast was the best we have ever had at the many B&Bs we have visited. Over 10 choices on the menu. Each sounded amazing. It made me wish we were staying for several more days. Just to experience another of her choices.

Everything was lovely. I would highly recommend Hanna House as a place to stay.
