Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte-Airport

The property is very close to the airport and has excellent shuttle service to the airport. They had a decent breakfast which was a convenience before heading to the airport. The room was comfortable and quiet.

I was not able to adjust the thermostat in the room. The thermostat seemed to be preset and fixed at 70 degrees because no matter which buttons I pushed I could not adjust it up or down. Thankfully it was a comfortable temperature as I do not enjoy being overly hot or cold when I’m sleeping.

The room was for our Son, Daughter in law and two grandchildren, they missed their flight in Greensboro due to traffic backup and had to drive to Charlotte for an early morning flight the next morning. Since the flight was early they were not able to check out the breakfast. But their room with the two queen beds met their needs for the night, and was very comfortable.

They had only good opinions about their stay although it was a very short one.

The front staff were very helpful in suggesting local restaurants. They have a shuttle to the airport if needed and at the time we stayed there, there was a shuttle that would take you to restaurants within a 5 mile radius.

Lilttle bit noisy due to the proximity to the airport.

The breakfast was great - a nice selection of cereal, meats and eggs. The location is great - close to downtown and the airport. The staff was really nice and cared about us having a great stay.

Maybe more pillows and a more comfortable bed? Other than that, everything was great.

Location was great for our early morning flight. The staff was nice and check in was easy.

Our only complaint is that the water fountains weren’t working and they ran out off the complimentary water bottles even though the front desk said they would have them all night. We had to buy the $3.75 water from the on-site market

Free shuttle bus to the airport

The conditioner in the shower needed replacing. Since it’s in a bulk container permanently affixed there I didn’t realize until I was committed. Staff should check more often.

Breakfast was good, very crowded, limited seating, tables not cleaned by staff, had to be wiped off by guests.

Bigger space for breakfast, more help for the staff getting food prepared and maintaining cleanliness.

the shuttle never came to pick us up at the airport after we waited a long time. The second time that I called the receptionist said no more shuttles were available after midnight and she got mad at me for calling.

Breakfast was great. Rooms were clean and well stocked with towels and wash cloths. More than the normal, which was very nice not having to call for more! Staff was super friendly and quick to check us in and inform us of Amenities. Had pack and play set up and ready for use upon arrival.

The pool is indoors so it was super muggy and hot inside. Would be nice if there was some air ventilation.

The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the room was very cool and comfortable after a long, hot day of traveling.

The entry is not clearly marked. It was difficult to find for an exhausted traveler after a very long day. The layout is a little different, but that could be due to the location. Had a cracked mirror on the closet door.
