Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte/Concord

location was good. black out curtains allowed good rest. enjoyed the fire outside.

my room wasn’t as clean as I would’ve liked. I found a pill on the floor. there was also a really strong scent of something and we couldn’t figure out what it was. it was a cheap perfume smell. not horrible but very strong.

The back of the toilet was a little dirty upon arrival - not a huge deal but this made me question how clean other stuff was. The air also was hit or miss with working. The front desk didn’t really seem to care much since we were only there one night. Other than that it was a very nice stay.

We were very pleased with our stay at this motel. We slept well and the room was quiet and spacious.

Like most hotels, the lighting needs to be replaced with LED.

The staff was great! Chicora, David, and Cara were all a pleasure to work with. David saved the night with the a/c remedy! It finally started getting cold and I slept great!

The room temp was almost 80 the whole stay. I was told initially it was because I was on the top floor. I was on floor 6. I’ve stayed much higher in hotels and never had the issue. Thank God David worked the night shift because he really took charge and saved the night. He gave us complimentary breakfast. They were sold out of rooms. The jacuzzi is gone. The room wasn’t as clean as it was my prior stay.

The property was in a great location and easy to find. It was very clean and the gentlemen at check in was super friendly.

The website says there is a free shuttle service to local areas but when we asked the lady at the front desk she said no that’s wrong and did not offer any other options as this was one reason we chose this hotel it was disappointing and she was not very helpful. There is no hot tub as advertised so that was also disappointing. They should definitely update the amenities on the website to properly reflect what they offer.

Staff are super friendly! Rooms are clean and comfortable. Location is convenient - near major roads, a mall, tons of food options. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Breakfast was very... confusing? It's an additional fee for any breakfast (including continental). The breakfast area needs better signage explaining when it's open and how it works. Staff were standing nearby chatting with each other and no one helped us. We made waffles in the dark not knowing what the deal was, and then got charged for them. The food is fine, just know what you're getting into. (I'd prefer any of the number of breakfast options in walking/driving distance.)

well maintained and clean, great location. breakfast was amazing and the team there were all very friendly. i recommend a stay if you are visiting the area. just one note: you have to request a ‘tidy-up’ for your room… they don’t automatically come in with fresh towels and makeup the bed. but after I asked, everything was in order.

The service was excellent, the food here is prepared well, the menu has a nice variety, the dining area is nice and open, and the staff is welcoming and friendly. I also love the location of the hotel and the ease of getting in and out quickly.

The comforter had holes in it, the bed sheets seemed very old, the furniture was very worn, the carpet was outdated, and the room didn't seem as clean as usual. I have visited every year and never had a bad comment about this hotel, so I was very surprised.

The hotel was clean and I felt safe. The front desk and breakfast staff were professional and courteous. The made to order omelets were delicious. The pool and gym were well maintained and clean.

The furniture in the room was nicked and dated. The rooms could use an upgrade.
