I was so happy to see Oat Milk!!!! I so appreciate when hotels have a dairy alternative for me. Thank you for that. I also appreciated the great customer service I received from Adrian. I LOVED how modern and CLEAN the building, facility, room and hotel decor was.

The mattress on my bed in Room 327 probably could have used rotating. I could tell right away I hopped in on the side of the bed that most everyone else who stayed in that room did. I left breakfast feeling like I wanted a bit more. I thought the breakfast sandwich was a great thing but wished for more choices of fruit or pastry. It was kinda boring and no fresh fruit.

I left my wallet in the room at checkout but did not realize it until I got as 35 minutes away. I went back to the hotel and the very kind and trustworthy housekeeping lady had already cleaned the room and saved my wallet for me in a bag. I truly do not know what I would have done without it. My ID and cards along with cash were in my wallet. I had nothing to get back to Wisconsin with. Thank you so so much!!

The rooms were incredibly spacious and very thoughtfully designed. We met some of the housekeeping staff including a supervisor in the elevator and they were so friendly! We absolutely loved chatting with them and they were so helpful and courteous.

We were charged for parking which I found strange and don’t remember seeing mentioned. i could have missed it in the fine print. There was A LOT of construction going on around the hotel and without a noise machine it could have been a nuisance. The location wasn’t exactly what I’d envisioned either but it worked for our one night stay.

Hotel is New! Clean!

Room has unique layout. Bathroom has frosted sliding door and is located in the middle of the room. At night, when you enter the restroom the light shines directly into the bed area making it impossible to not be disturbed. Also, housekeeping skipped cleaning our room after a long 13 hrs out if room, we arrived late that night to a messy, unvacuumed, and dirty towels. Very disappointing!

The hotel and rooms were very clean and updated.

The breakfast kinda sucked. There's no pool to cool off in or anything fun at the hotel for kids. The lights in the room were obnoxious because you have to leave a room key in the master switch for the lights to stay on. It was still kind of dark in the room even with the lights on if it was dark or the sun wasn't shining.

1. Paying for parking 2. The bathroom door let too much light through. If someone wakes up in the middle of the night the bathroom light brightness shouldn't wake up everyone 3. The key card to operate the lights was odd

Great location and easy to find. Once we were there we could walk to where we needed. The facilities were excellent. We had a Queen suite which was large and very comfortable for our family of four.

Parking was charged at £10 per day. I do not think this is fair for hotel guests who are a 'captive audience'. The breakfast was just okay. The selection was limited and the coffee was not very good (dish water).

We liked the ultra modern design and cleanliness of the rooms. The free breakfast, while the selection was small, was very high quality and made with care. This was our first time at a Springhill Suites. After this experience, my wife and I will seek out Springhill Suites the next time we need lodging.

It's really hard to find anything to complain about. If anything, I wish there was a little more selection for breakfast. But it's complimentary so I can understand why the selection is on the small side. That being said, what was offered was really tasty.

Large, modern rooms in a relatively new hotel on the outer edge of Downtown Durham. Very clean rooms with comfortable beds and very good facilities. Good breakfast buffet and very friendly staff. Free parking. Downtown Durham with restaurants is only 10min walk from the hotel. Also, the American Tobacco campus is less than 10min walk and definitively worth a visit during day and night (awesome light installations!). Highly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast buffet officially closes already at 9am but staff let us finish beyond 9am without any problems.

check in clerk was having a bad day and made sure everyone knew; communication needed with cleaners b/c with only a one night stay they managed to open our door twice when we were still in the room. Once the first evening of our arrival, and once the next morning before we are checked out.
