Beds were very comfortable, room was very spacious and bathroom was nice and clean.

There was a bit of a damp smell in the room.

The staff and the management wanted to make sure everything is well, they were very friendly, respectful and courteous which I don't see much now a days in the service industry. I had an issue with the bath tub water clogging and as soon as I informed the front desk they sent the maintenance person and fixed it within minutes, I was impressed, Initially even though I got frustrated and wanted to ask for another room, because of their friendly and fast service I was very happy. The room was clean, very spacious and comfortable. No noise or disturbance.

Complimentary breakfast could have been better, they didn't really have many items, I just ended up just getting a coffee and left. Was not very happy about it.

I travel a lot for work since I am a private security contractor in North Carolina and I've been to many hotels, many of these hotels offer the same amenities that the comfort inn & suites near Duke University in Durham offered but do not execute it as well. The room was sizable and immaculate, the free continental breakfast was pristine hot and very filling, which was perfect for me since I left the hotel and went straight to my job site. The bed was comfortable and clean and the shower was so nice and piping hot! I also accidentally left my ID badge for work in the room along with a charger for my phone but the hotel staff were quick to call my phone number and hold them aside at the lobby desk for me to come pick up. Great staff great stay great hotel!

The bed was so comfortable I almost slept through my alarms, which trust me is not a complaint!

I found the staff welcoming and friendly. I arrived very late and did not feel that the person at the desk was inconvenienced at all. The room was extremely clean, well-lighted, comfortable bed, hot water, etc. The coffee was good, too.

Minor things. There were only two dresser drawers & I could have used more. My phone cord kept falling out, but was fixed as soon as I reported it. The table lamps next to the bed were not adjustable, which meant that I couldn't pull the light closer to where I needed it for reading.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was Clean. It would be nice to have an extra blanket in the room as my co-worker is very cold natured and she needed the heat higher than I did, but I managed.The small store could use

The small store could have more of a variety of smaller soft drinks in a bottle so that a woman does not have to go out at night to a store out of the motel to buy a soft drink. The larger bottles are great if you can share it but if each of you drink a different soft drink, it is too much to buy a large bottle.

The location was perfect to visit my son at the VA hospital. It’s in a safe area. Staff helped me get a discount because of the medical reasons for being there. The staff were great. Breakfast was tasty. The pool was clean. The room was comfortable. I do recommend this hotel.

I stayed multiple times. Some rooms have a refrigerator/freezer, some don’t. Some have a thermostat controlled AC unit, some have no control. The weight room could use a few more weights. These are small issues and would still recommend!

Staff was very rude. My grandmother was there due to an early doctors appointment the next morning. My grandmother asked the check-in person for a free bottle of water. Ms. Marisol responded that we don't provide bottle water. There's some water there you can help yourself to it. My grandmother responded with, "I am 85 years old, put me on the 3rd floor, am I supposed to come down everything I want want water. Staff said will how are we supposed to make money!"

Check in was great and the room was nice but very COLD when we arrived. We turned the AC off for a while to let it warm up. The beds were fine but I like a firmer mattress, but I slept very well. Since I had an appointment at Duke Transplant Center we did not eat breakfast as they always draw blood and tell me not to eat.

You need more handicap parking spaces near the front.

I travel often for work and I've stayed in this hotel before, definitely making this hotel my go-to hotel when in Durham. Clean room, comfy beds, plenty of tv channels, a surprisingly satisfying free breakfast that is fresh hot and filling.

The price is a bit high but definitely worth it for the amount of comfort and amenities.
