Red Roof Inn Durham - Duke Univ Medical Center

All of the staff was very helpful and friendly the staff also went above and beyond for our situation. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed room is big and spacious. If there was any kind of issues the staff took care of it. Want to give a special thank you to the manager and Sara. Property was very well maintained and taken care of plus it's in a good location and close to the highway. Our stay has been great and we are going to be here for a little while cause of my husband's job plus we were able to have our service dog with us. We have even told some of our people that when they come into Durham to make there reservation with this property.

Nothing we didn't like about this property.

The room was very clean and comfortable. It was quiet as well, no loud guests, which was nice since we had to turn in early. The location was also good for Duke Univeristy.

When we arrived to check in, there was no staff member on duty, so we had to leave and come back to check in. We were also placed on the 3rd floor, which is fine since there was an elevator but the elevator needs to be inspected, as it felt like it was going to drop once it landed on the 3rd floor.

The rooms were very nice and updated. Everything was clean and had no problems with check in. The staff was very very kind, helpful, and responsive. I would definitely stay again if I'm back in the area. I would also recommend it to others. The Inn has great parking in addition to having gas stations and numerous food options in walking distance and close driving distance away.

The room smelled a bit smoky but the entire location is Smoke Free so maybe that was a recent change and won't be an issue in the future. It wasn't bothersome enough to change rooms. Additionally, I would've preferred one of the locations with the indoor hotel/rooms vs. the entrances being outside. It was safe though and fulfilled expectations.

Price and convenient location

No fridge or microwave, understaffed, your employees are working hard core you should give them a raise for being one man band. They deserve it, especially with how the one guy balanced a mob of customers at check in. There were a few guests that were inconsiderate wankers towards them because of the wait.

It was ok , rooms was nice and clean , overall thr stay was exceptional ?

Thr breakfast could have been handled differently or some type of accommodations should have been instated , unfortunately understood cause of restrictions from COVID , but there are some other hotels who provides quality services even upon the pricing of your stay . I think In some cases the prices are a way too but high for some of the quality’s ?

The staff did everything that they could to make my stay better due to the circumstances

Room was not clean when I it was assigned to me and I had to go back downstairs to the office to get another room got that one and the lock for the key didn't work so they moved me to another room just for the night till they had a room clean like the one I booked because I was staying 3 for nights

Staff was very friendly, a/c worked great, dog friendly, nice hot water, good location

Beds were not comfortable but they worked for our one night stay. Room could have used a good cleaning

It was a very noisy and the floor in room was greasy on the floor so I don't know what it was but I wiped it up but besides that it was okay

The people up front were very friendly and I would appreciate you get my refund put on my card thank you desiree boutchyard

The front desk staff are 100% top notch. Brandi and Saniyah went out there way to accommodate me when I had a few glitches. Made the stay even better. 2nd visit and bcuz of these ladies, I will definitely stay again. The cleanliness and friendly, efficient front desk staff. Also, a big plus was the sturdy chair in the disability bathroom. I haven't seen this style at any other hotel. Was perfect for husband. Not the cheap one plastic stool. 100% a great touch. Oh, and NO charge for pets. PLUSES ALL THE WAY AROUND.

The room was really small, they only provided two towels,( no hand towels at all) and it didn't have any refrigerator or coffee maker like the other Red Roof inns we have been in.

The room was immaculately clean and the staff was very friendly. The location was perfect!
