Baymont by Wyndham Rocky Mount I-95

Ok so I read the reviews after I booked my room and let me say don’t ever go off reviews, first I was coming into town for daughter travel ball games stayed 2 nights 3 days I arrived hour early and had a room ready for me the front office lady was most helpful the most friendly during our stay we appreciate her! The breakfast was good it was hot breakfast to fix your self the pool was open and clean! I will be back if we ever have to go thru rocky mount area again!

The pets that stays with guest the barking during the night kind of sucked but it was what was expected with pet friendly hotel!

The breakfast was excellent. There was an option to make a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich as well as a waffle maker. Good coffee. But, the best thing about this property is the people who work there! Very welcoming and informative.

The neighborhood had other motels that were closed, and seemed far away from the town. There is a Denny's next door, however, and a Hardee's on the other side.

The price and location was the main reason for me choosing this location. I travel a lot for leisure and I just need some where to lay my head Down and get up safe and wash. Just what I needed. SIMPLE

I just hated not being able to walk into the lobby. Due to over booking issues the staff was only allowing guests to check in at the after hours window. Understand I arrived at 4 pm in the afternoon.

The staff was courteous and helpful, especially Stephanie. She is a bright light in your organization. She is very helpful, friendly and was smiling. We felt welcomed. There was another lady on the desk with Stephanie who was also very friendly and helpful. We did not get her name. Together, they presented a very welcoming presence.

The lighting in the room was not adequate. Some of the lamps did not work.

The staff was very friendly. It was definitely not a Hilton, but we didn’t pay what we w old for a Hilton. It was clean & comfortable. We traveled with our dog so we were happy to have a nice area to walk her. The hotel is situated back from the Main Street so we didn’t hear traffic which is a big plus. Also they did provide a breakfast with cold cereal, bread(several kinds) small sausage patties, eggs, juice, waffles & coffee& tea. And if you don’t like the choices there you can walk next door to Dennys

I can’t say there was anything negative. We only stayed one night & we didn’t pay very much. We had everything we needed

it was clean and the bed was comfortable. for Breakfast there was a wide variety. my apologies for not getting her name, the front desk person was so sweet and pleasant. We checked out on 3/12/2022.

The heater in the room had a strange smell. The front desk person at check in was not very nice. she talked to us through the closed door never bothered to get up and go to the window. we had a hard time understanding what she was saying. she then yelled saying the computers were down and we needed to come back in a half hour. we were exhausted after driving for the last 14 hours. so this was a bit frustrating for us. we almost went somewhere else, but we were so exhausted and didn’t want to risk driving, so we went back to our car and waited the half hour.

Staff were very courteous, location perfect, breakfast great.

The furniture, vanity and sink, fridge , m/w, TV were all lovely. The bathroom had too much rust and the tub needs new grout and caulking. The rusty floor lamp just needs some rust spray paint to fix it up. The beds looked l9vely but were very soft. Despite all that I would stay there again because of the location staff and breakfast.

The hotel was an average hotel and what I expected for a budget hotel option. The location was great near the highway and about 10-15 minutes from Rocky Mount. My room and bed was clean, but the floor was very dirty and had a slimy residue (presumably from a poorly mopped floor or use of the wrong cleaner). Due to COVID, breakfast was individually packaged crackers, bananas, apples, and coffee/tea. The hotel was not fancy, but for a place to sleep at night for a busy wedding weekend, it got the job done.

The floor in my hotel room was dirty and had a slimy/oily feel to it.

I checked in around 11pm. The women behind the desk was extremely friendly. We had a very nice conversation. Definitely made me feel welcome after a tough day on the road. The room was very clean and I mean VERY clean. It's in a very good location for easy access to Rt. 95. Very Good Rate.

Nothing I can think of. The stay worked

At check in the two ladies at the Front desk were absolutely marvelous. Truly felt the hospitality and could tell they really enjoyed their job. Would definitely stay again and recommend. Quiet and clean.

Room was sold as non smoking but did have a hint of old smoke odor in the bathroom. Super clean, just a slight odor.
