Hampton Inn Lima

Nice, clean hotel.

I request originally a 3pm check in time and the answer was yes. When I arrived at the hotel at 3:15pm I was told that the room was not ready and the hotel check in time was 4pm. I showed the front desk my confirmation from them that it was ok to check in at 3pm but the front desk clerk said that don’t matter. What is good is it to have a guaranteed check-in time if the hotel does not acknowledge it? I was told that it was Booking.com fault. I feel that I should be compensated for the room not being ready upon my arrival.

The hot tub is awesome! It's really the only reason that we stayed there. If the price was more reasonable for families of the local college s I would have stayed longer.

We stayed two days at another local hotel and paid half as much as I did for two days at the Hampton. I wish it was more reasonable. If so we would stay at the Hampton every visit just for the hot tub.

The staff was absolutely the best! Breakfast attendant made sure my family and I was always good. Front desk always spoke to us entering and exiting the hotel. Housekeeping was simply the best. Very accommodating and Trisha made sure we had what we needed in our rooms. The Hampton is the ONLY hotel we will stay when we visit our family in Lima. I hope they continue to maintain their high standards.

The only thing that we did not like was that the pool was closed two nights we wanted to swing, but I somewhat understood it may be due to keep so many people from going into it. Keeping us safe....

Room was very clean...plenty of towels for our family of 5. Large room accommodated the roll away bed very well. Breakfast was very good. Kids enjoyed the cookies at the desk.

The only complaint was the hot tub wasn't hot on Saturday. This morning (Sunday) it was closed for maintenance.

We loved the breakfast! Nice, hot and enjoyable. The rooms were nice amd clean. Close popular restraunts within walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great experience and would definitely come back to stay if we go back to Lima again.

Covid makes eveything tricky. You have to sign up to use the pool-so be prepared to plan around that. They do have cancellations often, so check in. That's my only semi negative review.

I didn't principate in the offered breakfast. And as far as the service of the staff, it was great!

There was nothing I could think of right now that I would say that I didn't like, during my stay here.

Great breakfast, the rooms were clean and NO smoke smell at all - this was a huge problem at a different hotel.

The beds made a loud squeaking noise everytime we rolled over.

I was very impressed with the staff who helped me on the phone and then she was at the front desk when we checked in the next day. She was very professional and really knows how to take care of customers!

Breakfast was yum! Nice selection. Bed was sooooo comfortable!

The fridge was barely on and the dial was in the back...I scratched the face of my new watch looking for dial. Actually had to call front desk to ask about fridge because I had no clue where the dial was to turn up

The location was convenient to many restaurants, this is nice after a long day of traveling.

Breakfast was nice with a few options but more hot options would be great.
