Hampton Inn Stow

Clean, comfortable place with much better than normal breakfast buffet.

When we checked in, the staff member tried to charge us a much higher rate. He told us the additional amount was to cover local property taxes. I had to open Booking.com to provide that we already had paid the lower rate. We have stayed at this hotel before and the staff has been great and we did not have this issue.

Very close to Blossom Music and a short drive to the FHOF. Good hot breakfast.

Asked for extra pillows(only 2 on a king) that never came! That was annoying! But not as annoying as the price difference from what I booked on Booking.com to what I was charged when I left! No explanation for the difference other than the room rate changed! Seriously??? Still trying to correct the error

the exceptional gentleman who greeted me. He efficiently checked me in. Also he was able to print out direction to an attraction in the area we were visiting. Gave us two adjoining rooms as requested. I was impressed with cleanliness, staff and great breakfast, also the tea and coffee available round the clock, it was nice and hot ! All around great stay and will definitely book hamptons in future

there wasn't anything I didn't like

first hampton i have ever stayed at that did not have a microwave or fresh air fan in bathroom and the toilet was the low one that was difficult to get on and off of other tan that the room was very comfortable clean and if i were there in the area i would stay again the only other thing for things to be open there was only a dry breakfast and nit very appetizing that was really not a good thing

sorry i got the wrong things in the wrong place but those were the things i didnt like as far as what i liked was the location and the comfort of the bed and clean room

Hotel was very clean and decor was very modern, staff was very polite and attentive to our needs. Couldn’t ask for a better location with amazing restaurants within walking distance. Very nice continental breakfast buffet every morning and the coffee bar was a must!

Would have loved the option to have a firmer pillow from the desk when asked but they don’t have that option.

Staff was helpful and accomodating. Hotel was easy to find, quiet, and convenient to Blossom Music Center, which is where we were spending our time Saturday evening. Breakfast options were decent and eating area was spacious enough, etc.

Bathroom corners were kind of dirty and dusty. There was something spilled down the back of the wall underneath the sink, counter. Bathroom surfaces were all at acceptable cleanliness, so I did not bother to mention at the time.

We stayed 1 week the front desk ppl were great. And sylvia did an excellent job for the breakfast every morning, with her smiling face to great everyone.

On Wednesday mid week we asked to have room cleaned it didn't get done so they asked if we wanted a fresh up but said no so they scheduled it for Thursday and it was half cleaned they didn't change the bedding the bed was just made didn't sweep the floors and just wiped down the bathroom. WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THIS AT ALL.

The staff was super nice and friendly. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was yummy. Close to Kent State University. Shopping and restaurants are nearby.

The other people staying there....heads up for other guests...there is NO reason to have such a loud conversation in the hallways of a hotel. Please be considerate of other guests and wait to have your conversation when you are on the elevator or in the lobby. Common courtesy is lost on most people these days.

Clean and comfortable room. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The housekeeping people were LOUD at 8am. Checkout is at noon. I had my alarm set for 930am to leave by 1030am. They were so noisy I was woken up too early. I understand they have a job to do but the noise was excessive banging.

Convince of Location

I asked for a early check in due to arriving early, was told check in was at 3pm. I also left in my message to the property that I would be checking out early due to having to go back to Pennsylvania for work so I was hoping that would compensate for the earlier check in
