The staff was super nice! This was the quietest hotel I have ever stayed in. We were on the first floor and couldn't hear anything above us. We were at an end of a hallway and couldn't hear noise from the doors or stairs. It is a great value for short stays. Close to Kent State University.
No connecting pet friendly rooms. I was told I could have connecting rooms when I messaged about my stay. The toilets are really low to the ground. The water is very hard. Makes it difficult to get soap and shampoo out. The hotel is a bit run down. It's not dirty, just old. Everything could use a bit of a refresher.

Left before breakfast. Location is easy on/off from tollway. Plenty of food nearby. Good size room. Bed was comfortable. Pillows were small and soft, but what I like, so it was good.
Bath/shower drain is very slow, reported to management, said it is an ongoing plumbing problem. Notified management of toothbrush head in sink drain, would have expected housekeeping to notice and correct. Motel is a little hard to find, it is down the hill behind several other buildings.

Very spacious room with enough outlets for me to charge my electronics. Bed was very comfortable with sufficient pillows. Shower worked well and bathroom was nice.
No setup for instant coffee. I bring my own instant coffee with me but no way to heat water available in the room Bathroom had a poorly mounted towel rack. It was secure enough and appeared level, but the large piece of wood to mount it looked horrible. Any weekend DIYer could have done better. See picture

They layout of the room was great
At 9:50 a.m. A cleaning lady knocked on our door then came in. Check out is not until 11 a.m. ,and we had a 12pm checkout. Very rude and she did not check the notes, she also did not speak food English, which would explain this.

The mattress was horrible. I stayed in a room that was non smoking and it was a memory foam mattress. The smoking room had a worn out spring mattress. It’s the worst bed I’ve ever slept on. Buy a new mattress they’re like $200 at Walmart across the street
