Hampton Inn & Suites Tulsa Downtown, Ok

Clean, good location in terms of access to downtown, nicer shopping areas, proximity to the Art Deco district (if you have an interest in Art Deco, Tulsa has a large district, and many of the buildings have been maintained or restored—I’d recommend visiting the Philcade Building, 511 S Boston, particularly the coffee shop which is probably 85-90% period-accurate, then visiting the numerous displays on the ground floor of the building). Breakfast was good, perhaps a bit sparse as things reopen after Covid, but good. People were friendly, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Things felt a bit short-staffed. I checked in around 8:00 PM, and I had to wait a while for someone to come to the desk. Housekeeping accidentally started to walk in on us, as we were getting ready. Service was fine, and the staff was nice. Just be aware they are trying to take care of everything, but they may be stretched a bit thin.

Parking is a bit of a mess, with two small reserved areas. However, one of the reserved areas is part of a lot where the rest of the spaces are paid private parking. But, all street parking is free, at night. Despite valet services being listed, they’re not available. In the end, I parked on the street, as did quite a few other folks, and we had no problems.

It is a super quiet and comfortable and convenient to everything downtown.

There was still some trash on the floor, there was used bandaid on top of the shower and one of the shelves in the shower was falling off. One of the towels was stained up. We also asked for a city view room and the view we received was of the roof top ac units, the parking garage and the BOK Center. Definitely was not worth the extra charge. The carpet in the hall and wall trim outside our door was also bleached out. Not something I would expect to see when paying $200 for a one night stay.

I had booked accommodations elsewhere which was filthy. Came to Hampton Inns and it’s was Godsend. Thank you Thank you. You all made a difference!!!!

Couldn’t find one thing

Location--closest place to stay for BOK events. Closer than I thought it would be, plenty of police in the area and some streets were closed, making walking much safer. Employees were helpful and nice. They explained the parking options in an easy-to-understand way. Didn't feel unsafe in daytime, though nighttime exploring might be an adventure. Room was clean. Nearby Arena Grill is 7.5/10 for simple food from 11a-2a if you don't want to leave the area (and maybe lose your parking place). If I go to another event at the BOK, and can get a room, I most likely will.

Paying extra for parking, though I understand why (there's nowhere near the parking needed for large BOK events); I knew about this beforehand and decided the limited Hampton parking was a better option than the adjacent parking garage. No microwave in room. Noise from other rooms was louder than other hotels, but nothing unbearable. Toilet was slightly loose, but worked fine. Vending machine products were outdated, and there was a limited supply of items in the Hampton store in the lobby. These are nitpicky items compared to other places I've stayed for almost double the price.

The hotel and room was very clean. I was supposed to have a king suite, but when I checked in, they didn’t have that for the reservation, which honestly sucked! This was a weekend getaway, and it was a surprise for my wife. The breakfast was fantastic. Great selection!

I would have liked them to accommodate my room reservation, but I guess Booking.com and the hotel got their wires confused. The bed, the mattress specifically, was hard and uncomfortable. The blankets and comforter was AMAZING…but not the mattress.

The location and room were very nice. There are a lot of restaurants and bars within walking distance of the hotel.

There were some minor things, such as the shower door being hard to open and close. The fact of having to pay for parking should be disclosed at the time of booking or including in the room rate. $245 a night plus $20 a day for parking is a bit much.

The location for the hotel is great, I will stay again. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were kept clean. The beds were very comfy.

I didn't get to eat all of the breakfast selections, I went to the breakfast area around 9:30 and they already started putting up a lot of the (hot) breakfast items, so we were left to eat yogurt. If it says till 10 then I believe they should have all options available until 10. The parking :(

Location was perfect for our visit for a concert at the BOK center....we just parked our car at the hotel and never moved it until check out. We walked to the concert and to dinner. Perfect location!

Breakfast was very average, but coffee was good. Some things about the room were quirky. But it didn't really affect our stay negatively. No safe in the room that I could find.

Great stay! Spacious room. Did not feel cramped The walk in shower was large. Plenty of room on countertop in bathroom. Water pressure was great. Clean and a great view!

Light was out in bathroom over the shower area but we called and they came to fix it. He also fixed the tv. Channels wouldn't change with the remote. It was set up for gaming and he just had to change a wire plug into a different one on the back of the TV. He was very nice and it didn't take long at all.

Breakfast was great! Room was comfortable and clean!

That the pool was in construction. I picked this hotel upon location and amenities for my family and was sorely disappointed I didn’t know the pool was unavailable upon check in
