The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast options were surprisingly good (waffles, bagels, muffins, hard boiled eggs, microwavable burritos and sandwiches, yogurt and snacks and a coffee maker with many options), parking was plentiful, the pool area was well maintained and even had a gas/charcoal grill. They have a functioning ice maker.

We had to endure an excessively noisy air conditioning compressor the first night of a 4 night stay but it was fixed on day 2. When I reported it to the front desk I was told they would see about discounting my first night but they never did. When they repaired the AC they spilled water on the carpet and failed to clean it up. It was almost dry by the time we checked out. The toilet would intermittently not fill and the only fix was to jiggle the handle/chain.

It is definitely an older facility but it is very clean, wirh comfortable room with friendly staff, and they seem to be upgrading rooms (which is good because the carpets ARE very old and worn, but not objectionably,). VERY convenient to several good cafes (Morning Glory and Sammich, for example). Plus, their "continental" breakfast had much more variety than most and the offerings were fresh.

Miscellaneous construction noises one early morning and the sounds of running water in other rooms late at night. (One night apparently a toilet in another room had a leaky valve because it kept running a little water to refill the tank -- all night)

We were happy about the room and its convenience to unloading our car, completely filled with things since we'd been gone for 3 months from home. The desk clerk was courteous. The breakfast room was just right and a convenient way to start our long drive on to Seattle. We thanked and tipped the housekeeper for doing a very good job of cleaning the room. Since it was a pet friendly room, that probably takes extra cleaning in some cases. We carry a dust buster, so we use that before we check out. We liked how close it was to Market of Choice (fabulous market) and Starbucks drive-up .

I always wish there was a mirror when there is a desk/chair to sit at. Girl thing, but I put my make-up on at the desk in the morning. There was a spare roll of toilet paper, and that was needed because the partial roll ran out. There was not a spare box of Kleenex, though, and there were only 4 sheets in the box when we arrived.

It’s well equipped. And very clean. Close to Morning Glory Cafe . The best breakfast in Ashland. Park right in front of room.

No bathtub. Quite expensive. Too far from Shakespeare Festival to walk. There were fires nearby and heavy smoke. The air conditioner did not have any filter so the room smelled of smoke. Sneezing all night. The continental breakfast had stale bagels and the juice machine was totally empty. Someone needs to monitor the condition of the breakfast room to clean and replenish.

Room and location were perfect for a quick trip up! Very clean and quiet neighborhood. 2 min from the waterfront shops, 5-10 minutes to the beach depending on where you go.

I might have missed if this was listed but I was very excited for the hot tub, especially after a long drive. Its a seasonal hot tub even though it is indoors and I did not see that it was closed. Still a great price and great hotel but it was a little treat I was really looking forward to - would recommend notating that its seasonal as that little addition is what really made us excited about this hotel.

the young woman at checkin was friendly and efficient. plenty of parking. the price was great. the room was spacious for a motel with 2 tables and 3 chairs. comfortable bed with nice bedding. A KEURIG with good k-cups. a Keurig at front desk as well. very quiet the night we stayed which was Tuesday before Thanksgiving. decent Mexican restaurant across the driveway - go in the back door and up the stairs for a quick way in.

the heater seemed to only make the room very hot so I had to turn it off and on. I am sensitive to heat. might not bother people who like heat.

I have stayed at Flagship before. Above all, their beds are the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Pillows are so soft and sheets are clean and soft as well. The bonus is the Mexican restaurant within walking distance as well as Morning Glory, my absolute favorite breakfast place in Ashland.

I tried to book a stay there using points from one of my credit cards, but it was not available. I booked the one night at Flagship out of necessity, but stayed at Stratford Inn for the remainder of my stay because I was able the use points for my stay. What a mistake! Stratford was a terrible experience. It would be great if I could use points to stay at Flagship.

Well, as noted, room was very good, quiet, comfortable, a convenient location and a great Mexican restaurant next door. good convenient parking, check in and check out easy and quick, and very accommodating on room selection.

they should really have coffee in the Breakfast room. they have the pump pot with some dregs in it, but no coffee. this was true on two different stays. They really should try having coffee. We know there is a rather inconvenient coffee device in the room, but we didn't want to figure out how to use it. even a source of hot water in the breakfast room would help.

We always stay here every time we travel throughout Oregon. Everything is nice and clean, bed and pillows very comfortable. Staff is nice and friendly.

Breakfast is usually good but we wish it was served earlier than 8am. We are usually on the road early and would be great to have at least a cup of coffee before leaving. Other than that it’s always a great stay!

The motel is a little out of the center of town, but it is in a great area across the road from the university and near some good cafes, restaurants and a 7-11. Our request for a quiet room was honored with a room at the back of the property with a great view overlooking the mountains. The room was nice and quiet with a comfortable bed and great water pressure in the shower.

Unfortunately the room smelled strongly of cleaning products/disinfectant and opening the window didn't clear the smell out permanently - luckily you get used to it after a while. Also the refrigerator needed a clean.
