The building is lovely, the interior warm and inviting. The rooms are quite new and fresh. Everything is very clean and welcoming. All in all, a very good experience. I didn't want to leave, I could have stayed a few days and enjoyed all it offered.

The breakfast was surprisingly bad. Pre-packaged in plastic breads, muffins, etc. had a chemical smell and taste. Sugary cereals and very little choice. Also, I am in such disagreement with the little plastic packets of sugar and coffee whitener in the rooms. There are so NOT environmentally friendly, and there is never enough whitener or sugar, so all the plastic (again) packets get opened just for a whitener and then the entire packet is then discarded. SOmeone needs to come up with a better method!

The location is awesome - walking distance to the theaters. We booked these 2 rooms several months ago for 4 nights through a 3rd party. When we arrived, they could not find our reservation in the computer. The motel was completely full for our dates. Then they found one of our rooms in the computer, but not the second one. The desk clerk Xandra, spoke to her manager, and after a short wait, she booked our second room in an ADA accessible room. That turned out fine and we were able to enjoy our stay. Xandra also told us how to work the flat screen TV, and we were able to connect our ROKU.

The breakfast consisted of a choice of a brown bag with hard boiled eggs and a bagel, or a brown bag with a muffin, granola bar and pop tart. We ate breakfast elsewhere and used the granola bars for snacks later in the day. The parking lot was often full, and the spaces on the lower level were only for compact cars, but we were able to find parking on the nearby street. There was no maid service and when we put our dirty towels outside the door, they were removed, but not replaced with clean towels. The spa and the gym were both closed due to Covid.

Excellent location for restaurants and events. Good parking. Handy elevator location. Comfortable lobby with fireplace. Clean carpets throughout. Pleasant lighting.

Breakfast. No channel list in the room. Breakfast could balance out the carbs with scrambled eggs and sausage. Cereal and waffles and toast, French toast and bagels add up to a lot of carbs and calories. I didn’t eat anything. I didn’t want to fall asleep on the road.

The property had an elegant feel from the moment we stepped in. The grounds were beautiful…and the breakfast had good options!

Our room was nice but the water pressure in the bathroom was unsatisfactory. The water was very weak for quite some time and then all of the sudden you were blasted with more water pressure…so you were all of a sudden stunned and surprised…wondering what was going on! The bathroom was too small as well.

A nice size room. Fun decor. Very easy walking distance to town and theatres

No maid service - pretending covid keeps the maids out. No reduction in price for no maid service. No employees even wear masks The entrance level is strongly perfumed - too much. Pillows are hard as a rock. They gave me softer pillows when I asked. Breakfast is continental and not great. I come to Ashland every year for the plays. This hotel doesn't compete well with other hotels I have stayed in over the years.

Breakfast was excellent. Outdoor breakfast tables a nice touch. Location very convenient to walk to plays, restaurants etc. Room was very quiet

ONE ply toilet paper!. Really? For $200 a night I would expect more. OK to be environmentally sensitive with towel use and room changes, but really skimping on toilet paper is not cool at all.

Location, location, location! The room was spacious, and everything worked. We enjoyed looking out at trees, and we loved being five minutes by foot from downtown.

There wasn't adequate parking in the lot, although we were able to find a spot on a nearby street. When we made our reservation through a booking agency, we weren't told that our room would be in the building reserved for pets. It turned out to be OK, but I think we should have been informed in advance. (This comment relates to the first reservation we had last week: June 4-9. The reservation for July 9-10 was in the main part of the hotel.)

I have stayed at the Plaza several times.since it opened. For a time, their pricing was unreasonable. I am happy to see that they now offer a quality product with a more reasonable price. I like the location within walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and well appointed and clean.

The breakfast was adequate. Not to the level of their presence.

The location, covered parking, comfortable beds/bedding, friendly staff.

Pillows are too firm, pillow cases are scratchy, no table in the 2 queen suite, the phone starts flashing to indicate a message when there isn't one, the bathtub is small.the refrigerator was not as clean as the rest of the suite, the lights bedside lamp would blink if you touched the lamp(like a loose connection)

The location is perfect, right at the end of the street with all of the shops and restaurants. Five minute walk to the theaters. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

The exercise facility still isn't open and they are still doing grab and go breakfasts. Also, we were assured that we could split the bill at the end of it stay, but the woman working the desk at check-out had no idea how to do that, which has created a problem on our end. At this point, Covid is just an excuse for poor training and decreased attention to customer service.
