AmeriCoast Inn is competing in a segment that is often poorly maintained and run down. In this segment, AmeriCoast Inn is better than most. Internet was excellent. Towels were adequate. Everything worked. Light bulbs in all sockets. Relatively roomy bathroom. Comfortable bed. Some recent paint and tile. Easy to figure out heat/AC. The check in staff was the best I’ve ever experienced. Talkative and full of local advice and tips. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

Everything worked for me. If you are mobility impaired, you would not want a second floor room. Many tripping hazards between parking lot and second floor rooms.

On Arrival the front office was very pleasant and accommodating. The staff was very helpful. We had 3 rooms we had rented. We were quickly registered. All 3 rooms were very clean, and had been stocked with everything we needed. We were asked if there was anything else we needed. Beds were comfortable. Parking was well lit and plenty of it. Thank you for such a wonderful stay and great staff. We did have a good view from our window.

Walls were a bit thin, so we could hear notices from both sides of the room. Not bad though, we slept very well.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable. They were very generous with soap and towel supplies.

This place doesn't have a traditional coffee maker. They provide instant coffee pouches, but you have to heat up water in the microwave along with the coffee pouches to get hot coffee. Also my room was missing a TV remote control. The front desk said he cannot give me my Triple A discount and had charged me full price for the first room because he said I had booked my stay through a booking site. I was very disappointed because it was not disclosed on Booking.com that no other discounts will apply if I use them. If I knew using Booking.com would make me loose my Triple A discount, then I would have booked directly with the hotel.

The bed is super comfortable and the AC is pretty strong. The room is adequately clean.

The water pressure of the shower is a bit weak and the curved shower curtain rail is half detached from the wall so I had a hard time fully extending the curtain. The location of our room required us to take a flight of steps up, and then a flight of stairs down. I had a heavy suitcase so that gave me a mild inconvenience.

The service was exceptional. I had made a mistake with my original reservation. When I called in to fix it, they made adjustments for me and I was lucky enough to get the last available room for the first night. I moved rooms for the second and third night and they cleaned my room first so I could check in early. I also had my children joining me for the last night and there was no extra charge to add them to the room. I was happy with the value of the motel. It was the least expensive place I could find for the holiday weekend and everything was clean and tidy. Though it has somewhat basic amenities it was just what I needed for my stay. There was even an ocean view. Very satisfied and I will return.

This is an older motel, but has been redone so it is clean and nice. I could hear guests in other rooms on occasion, but nothing that kept me awake or disturbed my experience. I noticed that the housekeeping staff forgot to check their gratuity envelope and had left their money inside. I just added my gratuity to it, but thought it important they make sure and check the envelope.

Nice walk to view the ocean. Even though it's right on the highway not a lot of traffic noise. Appeared to be a very safe place to stay. It didn't seem like people were living there in the rooms. It felt like a nice place to stay.

The the refrigerator was very noisy and you couldn't turn on the light without turning on the fan. The fans were a little noisy not only in the room we stayed but in the rooms connected.

Bed was very comfortable, water pressure was amazing for taking a shower and refrigerator was nice and cold and it was nice to have a microwave as a bonus as well as a coffee maker for morning coffee!

Ice machine was at the other end of the building, very loud neighbors above. Also TV had a lot of snow lines running through the screen for the first 5 minutes and appeared to clear up

Good value, convenient location close to the beach. Friendly staff😊 Also nice to have fridge and microwave, coffee maker. Also close to many good places to eat (like a nearby Thai restaurant), as well as the Samuel H. Boardman scenic corridor. Check it out if you’re in the area!

A bit old looking. Nonetheless our room was clean, which is what matters most.

I like how it set up off the road. The landscaping and layout was cool. Most of all, I liked the view of the ocean. We could see the waves through the window from the bed.

The waffle maker needs a spray like Pam or something like that, even though it’s a non stick surface. I think everyone was having problems with it. That is such a small thing though.

The bed and pillows were far more comfortable than expected, much better than other small inns that we’ve stayed at! Everything was clean and they offered shower gels and makeup remover wipes which was appreciated! Would stay here again as a way point on a larger trip!

The decor was a bit outdated but that was expected. The bathroom was a little small and the door swung inwards so you had to maneuver around it while in there, but really, it was no big deal at all!
