Room was very comfortable , clean , nice carpet , good TV channels and I like old school Motel type that are well maintained , which it is! location was outstanding as you can go for a nice walk to coffee shops , outside weekend market , broadway is near by and I suggest taking a stroll down that street!

Nothing that I would say " I didn't like " But the staff was kinda lukewarm , not much smiling or welcoming , coming or going! But it won't keep me from coming back as I want to take some more walks down around broadway and enjoy the quiet neighborhood feel Also goy to go see a Ducks sports event! That would be Fun!

Its location and price. Great coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. Also only two miles from University of Oregon. Perfect spot for us as we were there to tour the campus with our granddaughter and family.

This is a small thing, but there was soap and lotion in the bathroom, but no shampoo or conditioner, and I had not brought my own. We were there for only one night, and every place I’ve ever stayed before has provided that, so I guess I just expected it. However, due to the pandemic of 2020, and the income hit these places have taken, I don’t really fault them. I would probably stay here again.

The room was what we expected for the price: nothing fancy, everything worked, the TV was new and the refrigerator was larger than we expected. The access to the city streets and neighborhoods also was a big bonus as we were able to navigate to a wonderful restaurant for breakfast (Mandy's, I highly recommend it if you want a decent meal at today's prices.)

Something in our room or the one next door was making a noise which sounded like a coffee brewer trying to make the last drops of water go through the system. Also, the blinking red light on the phone needs to be disconnected or taped over because it was annoying until we covered it with a pillow, of which there were PLENTY.

We got the queen suite. It was the last room they had. It was huge and amazing! Beds were comfortable and a large bathroom. It has a concierge. Also it gave us an option to order pizza from papa John's pizza at a discount price and the pizza was amazing! It's a very small hotel but it's a gem! It comes with a fridge and a coffee pot and a microwave.

We couldn't check in early until we paid $10 an hour to check in early. We needed to check in 2 hours early because we are going to a wedding. Check in was at 4 and the wedding starts at 430. We were traveling from California. We had to pay $20+tax to check in at 2PM

there was a loud horrible sound from (I think) a fan that automatically comes on when the light has been on more than a couple minutes. if you plan to bathe, bring ear plugs or candles because you don't want to leave the light on. I don't know if it's the hotel or booking company's error but this place does NOT offer breakfast. It's listed otherwise in my reservation. parking was a little weird. the slots are very narrow. I drive an elantra (smaller midsized sedan) & it just barely fit.

Access to the room a bit difficult, as the office was locked, but the clerk came quickly and was very helpful. The bed was excellent! I have stayed in thousands of rooms over the last half century, and this is by far the top one! Due to Covid, everything in the town was not operating normally. But the local restaurant at Brail's (a block away) was well worth the one block walk and the food was excellent!

Television channels not the best, but what choice did I have? Ambient noise due to the street took getting used to, but since I live in total silence at home it is an acquired trait.

The desk clerk was fantastic, and the room was meticulously clean. The A/C was very efficient, and there was much information available in support of what I might need.

The internet was down the whole time, and the computer system did not show my reservation. I had to pay for another room, and with the net down, I could not contact booking.com to address the problem.

One of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed in including high end hotels. The staff was helpful, friendly, and quick! very comfortable bed and pillows. Located on a clean street without wanderers so we felt very safe.

My only complaint might have been the tight parking but there was hardly anyone staying there the days I went so it wasn’t an issue.

A very pleasant stay! Everything was very clean, and the staff we interacted with were very warm and friendly. The owner, in particular, was wonderful to chat with. Good location - close to a few restaurants, less than 10 minutes' walk to the Amtrak station, and a pleasant ~25 minute walk to the university. The free breakfast was basic but great. An excellent option if you're looking for a budget stay.

The furniture and room décor looked a bit dated, but it was still very clean. Not really a complaint but just so early arrivers know: regular check-in is on the late side (4pm), but they were very helpful about letting us leave our luggage and pay for an early check-in.

Extremely close to the amphitheater & duck stadium. Close to walk to restaurants too. Safe area.

The window didn’t lock, as the hatch was broken, but they had a metal screw lock that for the most part seemed to work. It would be better to have a wood or metal slider instead, as that would prevent any attempt. A little noise from being close to the main road, not bad.
