Comfortable bed and pillows, soft towels, the room was exceptionally clean, and the surrounding grounds were well kept and beautiful. The staff is always accommodating and comfortable to interact with. The sound of the ocean at night was very relaxing. Though the picture from the patio might be a little deceiving as you are actually sitting on top of the bluff above the beach, accessing the beach was very easy even with my heart condition. And the patio was a very comfortable place to sit and chill. This was our honeymoon and the staff helped make our time there almost magical.

There was not a single thing we were unhappy with.

Check in time is 4:00 PM, we received a phone call around 1:00 PM from the Hotel that our room was ready for us, WOW, what a surprise we have never had a hotel call us and tell us our room was ready for us, very nice touch of customer service. Room was very clean with a updated modern design, comfy bed, 180-degree view of the Pacific Ocean from the room. The Hotel lobby, coffee bar and built out sitting areas to view the ocean were exceptional. Check in was swift with friendly staff to greet you. Georgie's Restaurant which is next door to Hallmark and part of the resort has excellent food and picturesque views of the ocean at every table. Location of property is next to Nye beach and Historic Downtown Newport access is across the Pacific Coast Highway. Thank You Hallmark Resort will be seeing you again.

The upstairs room above us did have a squeaky floor that should be fixed. We were in room 341

The room, we booked was a King Suite, facing the ocean. The view, the size, condition and lay out was perfect. We used the sana. The towels were a wonderful quality, not used to at most coast properties. We enjoyed dining at the restaurant, and room service. We will be back. The food was excellent and very diverse.

Maybe a little better price on the room for 4 nights. Maybe, you have better rates for Mon through Friday visits.?

The whole place is exceptional! Nothing bad to say. We had a pet and she was treated like a family member with her own goody bag and a great pet area. George's next door is what we used for room service and it was always hot and very quick. Will be back next summer. Roz was very accommodating with a small issue we had nothing major.

Maybe the laundry only one washer and one dryer but when we used it we were the only ones there. The whole area was very clean.

Awesome location not because it overlooks the water but also a close 10 - 15 min walking distance to the historical bay front of the town. Rooms were big and spacious. We were sad to leave.

The shower had a bit of an issue draining. Lastly and not any fault of the hotel, but when the interior of Oregon gets hot the fog comes in and quite heavy. Sadly for the 3 nights we stayed we never saw a sunset which is what we were most looking forward too. Usually around 5pm visibility was pretty non existent. This happened in the mornings too but would usually burn off around 9am. This wasn’t limited to Newport but a good portion of the coast.

The rooms are huge with sea views and fantastic balconies. Staff are very friendly, I’d messed the dates up and they helped us out without any issues. Easy walk down to the beach. We didn’t eat dinner at the hotel but it’s a short walk to plenty of options. Breakfast was good. Getting the jacuzzi in the room seemed a bit much but it was a good choice, especially in early Oct when it was getting a bit cold outside. Dog friendly hotel so expect to see lots of dogs on the ground floor. Really recommend.

Nothing - great place.

I absolutely loved the stay, I enjoyed mostly everything about it! my room was beautiful, the staff was friendly, and have amazing customer service.

I didn’t like that we were told 10-11 the pool area is adults only, and there was kids in the pool area that entire hour it was supposed to be adults only. I have kids so I usually don’t mind, but the kids were screaming while we were in the sauna. And very rude guests about the children in the pool while their playing I would never say anything to a child but definitely should take a look out there and make sure no kids are present.

We liked the room, beds were comfortable and the kitchenette was great. The hotel is on a bluff above the beach and you can hear the ocean.

The people above us smoked pot every night until early morning and our room smelled like weed. Being on the first floor people are constantly walking past your room to get to the path to the beach.

From the minute you check-in & out, this place delivers! Clean, safe, quiet and comfortable what more could you ask for. Bring a extension cord so you can use the box fan they provid and set it anywhere. We liked it so much we extended our stay. Hope to go back someday. This place is a true vacation destination!!

If, I had to be picky the lights leading to the beach were all out but nothing a flash light or phone to help you find your way back.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay excellent. They gave us a free upgrade to a two room suite, a bottle of champagne, and $75 credited to the room for room service. The views were amazing, easy access to the beach, super dog friendly, and super comfortable beds.

The restaurant didn't have very many vegan or vegetarian options and it's quite expensive but delicious. I wouldn't have gone if it wasn't attached to the hotel and offered room service.
