The beds were super comfortable. And the bathroom was nice. Best part was showering. This motel has everything you need for the stay.

The floor was super dirty. You walk on it with barefoot or socks on and not long after your feet are dirty. The table was a little dirty and the sheet had stains. So I was a little disappointed about the lack of cleaning.

Although the motel doesn’t look appealing form the outside, our room was freshly renovated and very comfortable and spacious. Clean bathroom and friendly owners who lent us their own hairdryer!

The floor of the room could have been cleaner, but wasn’t a big issue.

Good location, walking distance to many restaurants and bars. It was really great having a mini fridge and microwave. The outside of building can throw you off a little but the room was completely updated. Comfy bed and pillows, all around a nice stay for our anniversary weekend at the coast.

The hospital is right behind the motel, there were a couple times where a helicopter was landing and it was very loud. The tile/vinyl floors were a little dirty but maybe having some carpet or rug at the door would help keep it clean. The body wash/shampoo dispensers fell off the wall and were in the tub floor when we arrived, but not a big deal and the front desk staff were appreciative of me informing them.

This hotel is deceptive. From the outside it looks very basic almost tired. Leaves you uncertain. However the rooms have all been significantly upgraded and are very comfortable and well appointed. Overall clean but the bathroom floor was a little grubby. It had probably been swished over with a wet mop and not cleaned off.

IF you have a room at the rear of the hotel you are adjacent to the hospital and the helipad. It was a bit scary when a helicopter landed just skimming the hotel roof. This happened into the night. However if you were to have a room at the front there would likely be a lot of road traffic noise.

From the street, it looks like any other semi-rundown average motel. But they have completely updated the rooms so it's like a night and day difference between exterior and interiors. Honestly, the rooms look like any other boutique-type hotel and you wouldn't guess you were in a motel on a main drag. The ice machine is in a room by the front entrance so no horrible ice machine sounds. The ONLY issue might be the fact the doors don't seal to the jamb which can cause excess noise. We didn't have any noise problems whatsoever but I might suggest choosing a room on the backside if you're there on a weekend just to avoid any excess street noise. I was surprised that even their tv's have pause/rew on their cable channels which was nice. It's definitely no-frills as it's a motel but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Just the door issue if there was a lot of noise outside.

When researching hotels for my one-night stay in Newport, I was hesitant about my choice. The outside didn't look great but the newly renovated rooms is what sold me. When I pulled up to the motel, I was scared! It's super old and sketchy looking and I almost decided right on the spot to look for another option. But I"m glad that I didn't! The lady in the office was very friendly and check-in was easy. I was blown away by my room! Definitely newly renovated with modern, sleek furnishings. Plenty of built-in USB's. The shower has a great showerhead and wonderful strong water pressure and plenty of hot water. A table/seating area and nice sized TV and an area for luggage. I would definitely stay here again!

The walls were just a bit thin, so I could tell that people were staying in the room next to me. But I couldn't hear their conversations. Just a muffled TV sound. Again, the exterior is pretty scary. But you're not staying outside, you're staying inside!

The room was recently renovated and it felt like you were in a 4 star hotel. The amenities met our family's needs. The beds were very comfortable. The shower pressure was perfect. Location was right on the 101 and close to Georgie's Restaurant (excellent food).

The exterior of the property isn't appealing at all! I was hesitant to stay there. I took a chance after reading the online reviews and was extremely shocked to see the rooms and experienced a very comfortable stay. Please don't allow the exterior make you do a quick u-turn out of the parking lot.

Absolutely amazing clean gorgeous room super comfy bed and shower was amazing and working shampoo body wash dispenser in shower. Honestly when my husband drove up we were alittle judgemental towards the way the outside looked but we were absolutely taken back how amazing the room was we are truly upset at ourselves for even slightly judging g based on outside look

Nothing it was amazing comfy the only thing but it wasnt a hotel issue was 2am the upstairs room above us was stomping slamming dragging etc for like an hour

The room was clean and comfortable, and location was perfect. Considering it is right across the street from the hospital it I'd quiet. By far, the best room I have stayed at in Newport. The bed was extremely comfortable, smelled clean, and was clean. The biggest thing I was impressed with was how well the water pressure was in the shower, unfortunately the drain couldn't keep up with the amount of water so it didn't drain very fast leaving you standing in water but other than that the room was amazing and I will definitely be staying there again.

The room was very nice and newly remodeled. The linens were new and clean. The A/C was good and cold. The bed was nice and comfy

The office area smelt bad and was super hot and the office staff didnt look professional. The lady was super nice but she looked like she hadn't had a bath in few days and her clothes looked like she was wearing pajamas. When we arrived and saw the office we thought we had booked a bad hotel but the room proved us wrong. It was clean and nice.
