Incredible location with a trail to the ocean beach. The Sandcastle Room was very nice with a fireplace, jacuzzi tub, large shower, king size bed, and deck with an ocean view. Loved the many open areas to sit, read, and enjoy the view indoors and outdoors! The fresh homemade cookies and free wine at check in were wonderful treats. The innkeeper Mary paid attention to our dietary restrictions in making our breakfast (served from 9-9:30) and everything was very tasty. It was nice to have access to coffee, sodas, hot chocolate, tea, and popcorn at any time.

The only thing we didn’t like was not having a thermostat control in our room. Being on the second floor the temperature rose to 75 which was a little on the warm side. We had to open our patio door to cool it down.

Loved the wonderfully prepared breakfast each morning. We met Misty, the chef, she is kind, thoughtful and puts love in her breakfast! The property is beautiful. Wonderful places to sit and watch the ocean...

Upon arrival, we asked if there was any possibility of having a room with AC. I love a cool room at night... we were told, maybe, then the following day, no. I actually thought that we might have been accommodated. I did struggle a bit with the warm room, each night. We spent 3 nights. We were offered a fan and that did help.

this was a beautiful location with exceptional views. Hiking trails were close as well as great food. Diana was knowledgeable about the area and had great recommendations. The breakfast and snacks provided were delicious and filling. The property was quiet with private access to the beach. The room was comfortable with a fireplace and beautiful views.

We weren’t prepared for no central air so our room got pretty warm in the afternoon since our room faced west and it was floor to ceiling windows. the next day we were able to adjust with the blinds and curtains. There also were not TVs in the rooms but it worked out fine.

Everything was lovely. The property, room, and service were exceptional. I felt the price was very reasonable for the beautiful room and delicious, huge breakfast that was offered. They also will make breakfast according to any food allergies or preferences, such as vegetarian or vegan. I very much appreciated this. Mandy was our host and was extremely thoughtful and kind. I would recommend this place for couples looking to get away. There are no TVs in the rooms, which is nice. I would definitely stay here again when in the Newport, Oregon area. 💜

Breakfast was very good both mornings. The food provided was more to our liking which is on the healthy side--not heavy sugary breakfast foood which we experienced under the previous ownership.

The bed was like a slab of concrete--both my husband and I were quite miserable throughout the night and the following days. I'm not sure what is worse--an old broken down mattress or one that is hard as a rock. Both are bad.

The view was phenomenal,. The Bed was comfortable, the in room jacuzzi nice, it's. Located on a private drive. Hands down to our chef.

Well we booked through booking.com and that's where my dislike comes in. It took more than 2 hours for them to update the system which made us being there a unknown thing and caused light distress for everyone involved. and our host was already having a rough night. I think it would have been smoother if booking.com would have been on board too.

Very quiet, beautiful view of the ocean through the trees and onto the beach, benches and tables placed in areas that allowed you to be alone with your spouse and yet close to the house and still overlooking and incredible view

This may seem strange but breakfast consisted of morning scones to go along with your coffee then. A large breakfast almost too big. That is my only complaint Other than being a little too large, absolutely great tasting

Our room was great. The bed was cozy and the robes were a nice touch. The spa jet tub was amazing and perfect to unwind in during the cold, rainy season. I was happy to see how clean everything was. The ocean view from our balcony was amazing and the walk from our room to the ocean was short and amazing to stargaze at night. There was also a firepit area that was pretty cozy! It was great being able to come down each morning for breakfast and not having to rush around to drive anywhere. The time set for breakfast was perfect because we weren't forced to wake up extremely early with a chance we could miss it. When my husband and I expressed how much we liked the muffins from breakfast, the chef gave us extra to take with us. Also, the extra treats each day were unexpected and definitely appreciated! One day we had a delicious pumpkin bread and the next day we had chocolate chip cookies. Everyone was so friendly and we had such a great experience that we'd definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Beautiful place! Great gathering areas to meet others staying at this location but plenty of room if you want to get away from others as well. Breakfast is delicious and the staff were all amazing people!

Lots of stairs to get down to the beach. tough for those with bad knees/knee injury. Don’t know if there was wheel chair access at this location as there was no obvious sign/signage.

The view is beautiful, instructions to get to the location were very good, the happy hour/social hour was fun, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious!

There is it anything that I can recall that I did not enjoy. Staff was amazing, the bed was super comfortable, and the food was great.
