Motel 6-Salem, OR - Expo Center

I really liked how clean the room was and how nice the bed was. I loved how the bathroom and sink were arranged, so that I could get ready while people were in the bathroom. I don't have any complaints about the staff, they were lovely.

There's a gap between the door and the floor which would be okay if the door didn't lead outside the room which did give us an interesting spider incident. The doors are not as secure as they should be, so bring a portable door stopper. After two weeks, I still haven't gotten my deposit back which is 150 dollars.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable for my fiancé and I. The electric outlets were convenient at our bedside. The pillows were soft and plush. The room was easy access on the bottom floor right near the exit. The shower had great water pressure.

The neighbors were a bit noisy during the late night hours. The temp control for the shower was highly sensitive so it was either burning hot or extremely cold at the slightest turn. The window in the bathroom was hard to close. It took my fiancé and myself to close and lock it due to there not being a screen.

Went for a night with my best friend for a mini vaca. I loved how clean it was, smelt good. Loved the lay out of the room and how it was decorated. felt very safe in the property even outside in the evening. all the male staff was very friendly.

Of course the trains pretty loud but why stay here when you know theres a train track that bothers you that much Lol. We were ecstatic about the pool when we first got there, to find the closed sign up right when we check in at 3 pm. Sunny and everything. Tried to call the office on when it would be open, lady was clearly focused on something else and didn't even know the answer. Pretty disappointing.

Clean, comfy, everything worked well. I asked for extra pillows (indigestion) and was given 2 promptly (although one was a wadded ball). Checkin was easy. There was a walkin before me who thought he and wife had a reservation there, but it could not be found. The agent called another local site to see if perhaps the reservation was there instead. I thought he was very nice to do that and i didn't mind waiting. He was also very patient, as they spoke very broken English. Knowledgeable staff front staff. Housekeepping was quiet and friendly. What I love the most is 1) being able to reserve without paying til you get there; 2) and being able to cancel up to the last minute w/o being charged!

Someone took 2 parking spaces and didnt even display their parking tag. There was a train nearby, but the sound was brief and not quick. Is on a busy street, but outside noises were undecipherable. Motel 6 used to be the "Go To" always the best price in town. Not so much now. I think it is overpriced. Clean. Safe. But overpriced.

A great stay at a great price as always.

The only couple of things are the noisy neighbors on the forklifts with their early morning "beep! beep!"s And the rail road so close, but the location is prime with the great price

enjoyed the train the room clean and the area was quiet. It was close to the event I was attending and I enjoyed coming back to Salem.

add draft blocker on front door and add a lock on bathroom window ,add a freezer to refrigerator.

The staff was all very helpful and nice. My key kept deactivating and they were right there to get me a new one. I was there for the ironman and they even had coffee for us at 5:00 am before leaving to the event. Very attentive staff. Room very clean!

That the pool was closed it is summer would have been nice to just cool off and relax by the pool side. I would have sat by it every day🙂

The property was decent for the price. A little noisy throughout the night but not bad. When we got there to check in they didnt have a reservation for us under booking.com. Luckily they had room for us. Nit sure what happened but i had a confirmation number and email from booking.com for the night. The staff was nice and actually got us a better deal than what we would have gotten thru booking.com.

The staff is so amazing very friendly and kind we extended our stay the room is perfect I feel safe because staff walks around every so often to check the parking lot and around the building

Oh I love everything about this place

The room was perfectly clean, had a working fridge and microwave, it was cleaned daily, and the staff were cheerful and nice.

The only thing wrong with this hotel is that Salem just isn't great for traveling. The hotel is next to the train tracks so its noisy and the surrounding businesses are not what you need when you travel.
