Lovely hillside setting. Lots of gorgeous flowers. Happy hour was a great way to relax after a day of driving. Our room was tucked away in the cottage assigned to us so we had a great sleep without noise from other guests. Although we could not enter we loved exploring the Gordon House grounds.

Too bad the Gardens are an extra charge and not open for morning walkers. Also, we would have liked to have stayed 2 nights but the 2nd night charge was way more than we wanted to pay. We booked our 2nd night in Silverton at the Silverton Inn and was overcharged there as well but not nearly as much as the Oregon Garden.

loved the room, the STAFF!, the grounds, the food, breakfast was exceptional, the restaurant food also, exceeded our expectations- The waitress in the bar was absolutely amazing, as were the breakfast staff! One of our party has a bunch of "special" food needs, and we were so graciously accommodated! (We tipped accordingly.) :)

not to be picky-(but you asked)-the cleanliness of pool and especially hot tub could be a bit better. I understand how maintenance heavy these items are, as I have both at my home, but we did not appreciate all the sand in bottom of pool, or the scummy bubbles in the hot tub. Maybe an extra mid/late day maintenance?

We have stayed here several times over the last ten years. We absolutely love this place. Rooms and beds are comfortable.

One of our favorite things to do was walk through gate into the Gardens right after breakfast. I had been almost three years since our last visit. I was surprised and saddened that the entrance to the Garden was no longer included. Also, at check-in we have always received two complimentary drinks coupons to the onsite bar/lodge. I was saddened once again, this was no longer a perk. We loved the “extra” perks of being a guest. These two items didn’t have an impact on the coziness of stay here, just disappointing.

Our group of 4 had an amazing stay at the Oregon Garden Resort. The room was a great size and included a fireplace, 2 queen beds, 2 lounge benches at the end of each bed and even a nice table and a little desk in the room! The room was spacious enough for us all to do what we needed to do without being in each other's space. Outside the backdoor was a cute private patio with a table and chairs as well! The bathroom was quite spacious inside and the shower head was a rain-fall kind, which made taking a shower an amazing experience. There were plenty of towels, hand towels, and even wash cloths for us all, but housekeeping does come by in the morning to check and make sure you have everything you need. The resort check in building is gorgeous and the breakfast buffet provided in the restaurant was fabulous. We ate and had a few drinks at different times during our stay. The food was good, the pricing for drinks and food was very reasonable, and the staff was kind. We definitely will be coming back for another visit!

An absolutely lovely place to stay! The accommodations were perfect for our needs, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed happy hour in the lounge, a good dinner in the restaurant and the hot tub before retiring for the night. Close to Silver Falls State Park and Silverton. Would love to return for another visit and have more time at the resort.

Very minor but wish there was a no-kid time at the hot tub. Hard to have adult conversation with kiddos around. Other than that, I think it's a great place for families.

The "rain-shower" heads are great; having the light in the hair dryer come on saves on my night light; the beds are comfy(my wife doesn't sleep very well w/them but I sleep great); its only 16 miles from our house so very convenient; in fact we ate here at Thanksgiving & last year at Mother's Day(or EASTER?_) The Christmas lights were on at Thanksgiving and some were still up for our dinner/stay over this time...very nice! Bathrooms in the restaurant are very clean and I'm 70 so I use them a lot....people are super-friendly; sorry there wasn't more people their, as the food is always exceptional. I had a new item, Bacon Jam Burger...it had great straw onions buried and held in place w/a cheese Dome, w/tomatoes, lettuce, onions, pickles, mayo, etc...fantastic flavor; the Fries were fresh and seasoning was great; probably, the best fries I've ever had and I eat a lot of fries....the foccaca(sp?)bread w/soft butter, great, and the best Bloody Mary I've had in 40 years and I have a virgin BM every day at home for the past 25 or so years....my wife had the Chicken Piccata which was delicious plus some very tasty potatoes. What else? In the bar area they had a different menu but you can get both plus live music a little later(but we were watching the Bowl Games/Jeopardy/WOF/other tv and playing Scrabble, too) They have lots of chairs, tables(outside, too when we've been here during better weather), refrigerator, micro(had popcorn/coffee, etc)nice closet, good towels, etc....just a great place to visit or/and stay over......they have breakfast but we ate at a little shop in Silverton called "Little Leaf" west of the main 4-way stop in town....

Nothing, maybe the bed a little more comfortable for my wife, but we sleep in separate beds(due to a lot of my medical problems)and my bed was great....so nothing really....the people at the front desk, etc, etc, were all great, thats why I left a 30% tip for the dinner. I forgot, its nice to have the overhead fan to circulate the air, and the blower that you can adjust to bring more cool or hot air as needed....thanks...!

The staff was amazing. The location was ideal. It was quiet.

We opted for dinner in the restaurant our first night there. We had the special, ribeye steak with veggies. It was almost the worst steak I have ever had. It had great flavor but it was tough and in no way resembled any ribeye steak I have ever had. My onion rings were so overcooked they were difficult to eat so I didn't. It was $48 for the special but I should have opted for the $38 salmon. I don't mind spending money on a good steak but this certainly wasn't one.

This was a place where we hoped to relax overnight. All the rooms were on the ground floor and our room was spacious and clean. I like having a window in the bathroom for ventilation. The beds were very cushy & comfortable. I loved using the hot tub (twice)! I soaked in it the day of our arrival and also the next morning. The breakfast was a hot American-style breakfast buffet which included waffles, scrambled eggs and sausages, plus some side dishes. Their blueberry crumb-top muffins were excellent: less oily and not too sweet. The Oregon Garden is located in front of the resort where, with a paid admission, you can walk around on numerous paths and walkways.

It would have been a perfect stay if the smoke detector had new batteries. The smoke detector went off intermittently several times during the evening of our arrival. A maintenance person was finally able to change the battery, and this solved the problem.

Absolutely breathtaking setting on the outskirts of a small town very attentive and pleasant staff from housekeeping through desk agents to kitchen very clean and quiet enough towels I didn't have to ask for more very hot.water and great rain style shower head made for a nice relaxing shower great size room nice gas insert fire place for nice warm and cozy feel and the price was excellent would recommend very highly

The only thing I can say that was not great is the bed was too soft for me I am a bigger person and soft mattresses hurt my back I know that is more of a preference thing so I am not upset just putting out that info

Enjoyed the spacious room with patio, the onsite lounge with a good happy hour menu and nightly live music.

The pool was nice, but there are only 6 lounge chairs at this resort and spa. Six poolside lounge chairs. There were many more patrons than lounge chairs causing dissatisfaction and people had to use the placed plastic upright chairs or metal bistro chairs at the pool. This was our only major complaint, but very significant to the satisfaction of the stay. There was no restroom facility at the pool, so we had to trek back to our room or go inside the main lodge to use the restroom.
