Eagle Village Resort & Chalet

It is nice and quiet..lots of trees And nice streams

The Cabins need cosmetic upgrades..The furniture, Beddings ,Faucets walls, paint were ALL OLD, RUSTY,FALLING APART AND EXTREMELY DIRTY!! The carpets have too much dirty stains on them and Beddings and furnitures... We had to put an extra blanket on the couch just so we can sit on it because it was excessively DIRTY.. Shower heads unable to turn... Caulking on all faucets all rusty and Brown, it is exceedingly disgusting 😑... We only love this place because of the noise Factor. .No noise at all and peaceful ✌️ but quite dirty.. thank you

Shower was nice.. good water pressure and temperature. Did not run out of hot water. Living area was nice as well. Bedrooms were also nice.

Exterior of chalet needs updating badly. Steps, decks, siding, roof need attention. Inside was very nice but outside needs improvement. No exterior light by door made it unsafe. Pathways were poorly lit. Some indoor lights did not work.

Hi everyone, this place is excellent if you want to run away from noise and why not people. It’s located in the middle of the nature, a beautiful lake , dears, birds, etc I just couldn’t see a bear but I’m hoping next time. I can’t wait to come back. The chalet is so comfy , I was so sad to leave “home” to go back home . I recommend 1,000% you will regret if you don’t go.

We stayed in the raised chalets that were not connects to any other buildings. Ours had a fireplace, 2 bathrooms, a loft, 3 bedrooms, and two balconies. There was also a full kitchen and i was honestly surprised how nice it was. I had high expectations and they were exceeded with the lake being within view and beautiful, the location of the resort was within 30 minutes of a lot of things to do, Jim Thorpe was just over an hour away. One thing they could add would be a little restaurant or somewhere to eat on site as many of the places closed early while we were there but if you are staying for an extended trip mkre than 2-3 days you should go to the store and pick up groceries and things for the shower as what they provide you in the chalet is very minimal so you don’t have to drive 20-30 minutes to a nice restaurant every night. Overall the stay was amazing and I was extremely happy with everything Eagle Village offered and my chalet as a whole. Would recommend. 9/10

Should have a restaurant or something for food on the resort, maybe have a few mkre things in the chalet for travelers so they don’t have to go to the supermarket for everything.

I love that it is almost a home away from home with all the amenities. Very easy to book. The location is amazing, so close to everything and plenty to do. The place needs some updates but for the cost, it's a good value

I absolutely hate that check-in is at 7PM!!!!! I've never heard of that, especially when check out is at 10AM!!!!

The location, love rhe forest and view to the lake, stays away of noise, the pool, picnic area, cotagge space, coverd porch, kitchen, parking, etc

The beds 🛌 are too hard, need an entrance for the lake with fishing area acces, need more grills for picnic area, also need to update direcction on the website, took me little bit to find final location

This was our fourth time staying there. They will take care of any issue you may have, in a prompt manner. Very accommodating. The chalets are very clean. It's a cozy, serene atmosphere. Betsy, the woman who is at the front desk in the office, is a sweetheart. Can't wait to go back again in October.

There are no cons.

For a night get away with the family it was great. Parking was close and the pool was huge.

The heat in house 1004 didn’t seem to work, or work well. Without the fireplace it was 63 degrees in the morning. It was blistering cold out though. The beds were not comfortable at all. The queen bed I slept in probably needs to be changed out or rotated. When you lay in it the head of the mattress dips down.

We loved the location - off the beaten path and very rustic and private. As Covid restrictions are still in place this property was perfect for our brief get a way to visit Bushkill Falls. The Falls are just a few minutes away. The accommodations were as indicated in prior reviews, so we were totally aware that it is need of repairs, and were not disappointed. The location was great. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

This property does need some repairs - both inside the chalets and on the roads - some serious potholes.

The animals, the starry nights

Well, I love this resort but the main bathroom had a hole in the wall. The bathtub faucet was wobbly and the front door had signs of being broken into! It is an old wonderful place, but many of the cabins need upgrades.
