Holiday Inn Express and Suites Stroudsburg-Poconos, an IHG Hotel

The room was comfortable and quiet. I was pleased with the amenities as I utilized both the swimming pool and the fitness center during my stay. In addition, the complimentary breakfast had many items to choose from and was a great way to start off my day.

The location was the only thing I was not happy with. It was a bit of a drive to get to restaurants and shopping centers. However, it was located right off the highway so it only took a minute for me to get back out and travel to my next destination.

SUPERB!!! DO NOT believe anyone giving this place less than 5stars or 10/10. The rooms are MASSIVE! Our rooms were larger than NYC apartments!!! Clean rooms, bathrooms, comfy beds, microwave and fridge?!?! What?!? And they have a pool! Breakfast was great, front desk was helpful. I highly recommend . Very good stay, we will return. I’ve gone to 50 countries, I know a thing or two about hotels. This place, as long as they maintain their renovations like this, will see me yearly.

Breakfast was adequate.

The floor in the room was not clean. There were food crumbs on the carpet. We booked for 5 adults and 1 child but only 3 towels were made available. I asked one of my daughters to request for additional 3 towels and was rudely accommodated by the receptionist. My daughter was told, " It was a fire hazard to have more than 3 people in one room." In fact my booking was specifically for 5 adults and 1 child, so, it did not make sense why the receptionist was mad to request 3 more towels when it should have been there in the first place.

The stay was comfortable and we enjoyed it. We as a family stayed at your hotel for my mom's 90th. We all really enjoyed the breakfast - lots of choices and the breakfast server was a real sweet woman and wanted to make sure everything was very good for us. I really liked that you had Dove hygiene products - my favorite!

The hallways and the rooms needed a scent refresh. They smelled a bit stale.

The room was clean and comfortable

One of the elevators was out of service for the 3 days I stayed causing backups. The entry , lounge/food area was full of boxes and had an awful time maneuvering in the mornings to get breakfast and not enough room to sit so had to go back up to room to eat. Check-in was a little slow, person helping out didn’t know how to process my using pre-booking and paying through PayPal.

We had a good stay came for the nascar race. Room was fine. I could tell there was not enough staff on site. People are traveling now and places need help. They did the best they could do. Some other people.guest. We’re very rude and acted like places should be 100 percent back. They are not. Just be thankful to be able to travel and do not be so hard on the workers. We would come back here again. Also the hotel is in a remodel.

Remodel makes place little messy but that is to be expected. Other issues were with loud guest. That is what happens at a hotel. Nothing really too bad. Breakfast was good but kept running out of coffee and food ( guest taking way too much food ) but was refilled as fast as they could.

The receptionist was very helpful on things around the area and the restaurant she told us to go to was delicious. They were accommodating with all our needs and the hotel was very clean even though it is still going through minor remodeling.

The parking lot made it seem sketchy at first that was next store!

I love the friendliness of the staff( GiGi) was very professional and nice Danny was awesome, he went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and that I had everything I needed. My daughter loves the pancakes and breakfast was good.

The cracks in the rooms could be a bit polished, like the bathroom. I didn’t like that there were no vending machines that took more than a dollar and we needed change.

My partner and I were so surprised to see how big and beautiful the room was. Very clean place and the staffs are very pleasant. I forgot my phone charger, the hotel gave me a charger and I was so happy. That was my first time staying in a holiday inn, nothing bad to say, the property is well maintained. A+ to all the employees.

The staff was awesome! Although there was one working elevator, the room was roomy and the breakfast wasn't so bad when the oven work. Bathroom were clean and beds comfy. Would stay again. Great price and stay for people on budgets.

I asked for towels and never got them, by a hotel staff. Elevator wait time was excessive, bc only one worked, and wet floors in front of that one working elevator from people going to and from the pool.
